General overview

Our small house is in a San Francisco neighborhood known as Glen Park, very convenient to transport, with services available close by such as gourmet food market and bakeries. Bookshop, restaurants, forest walks in the nearby wild canyon.

The space

A small house with a comfortable, large, spacious living room, two bedrooms (one currently a study) and one bath. Excellent working kitchen, upper deck overlooking the lovely garden. House is filled with light from multiple large windows. Views from the upper deck - south and east towards the bay and surrounding hills.

Guest access

Two floors, living area on upper floor, garage, studio and storage below.

Neighbourhood

Glen Park is a rapidly changing and popular neighborhood of many charms. Very hilly and contains the last wild canyon in San Francisco. Gourmet stores and eating close by in the well-known Glen Park Village within walking distance. Convenience shopping within driving distance. A rural feeling so close to downtown. Very quiet.

Getting around

Many forms of transport down the hill in the Village. Buses and a BART stop - Glen Park Station - that's the train to downtown, the airport, and the east bay.
