General overview

80 square metres apartment very close to the city center of Poznań (20 minutes walk, 10 minutes by tram or 5 minutes by car). It can fit up to 5 people (see the details below). You can enjoy one of the coolest cities in Poland, which has really hippie, vibrant atmosphere with lots of nice restaurants, cafes etc. It is also really nice for families with kids, there are many parks, playgrounds and museums nearby.

The space

The apartment constists of: - living room with open kitchen, where one or 2 extra people could sleep on the sofa bed (optional). There is a big wooden dining table with 4 chairs, as well as coffee table. Sofa bed is really comfortable, you can enjoy the evenings there reading your book or enjoying a cup of tea or glass of wine. - 1 master bedroom (big 180 cm-wide bed where we all 4 can fit) - 1 kids room with one bed which has the 'hidden extra bed' underneath so technically 2 small kids could sleep there. There are plenty of toys (cars, lego, trains, puzzles, books etc) that we are happy to share with other kids. - 1 study room with one desk for remote work (there is a big screen you can use while working here) - 1 bathroom There is a parking space in the building that you can use. Apartment also has one balcony and one loggia. Our home is adapted for kids so if you travel with your kids you will find here everything like cot bed, high chair, baby bath, you can use our son's toys as well.

Neighbourhood

Poznań is really cool city, that is not so touristy comparing to other cities in Poland which I believe is a great advantage of it. - 10 minutes walk from here there is a Malta lake, which is more for fun-activities (bike, walk, playground etc) rather than for swimming. (there are plenty of other lakes to swim in 30-minutes drive distance from here) - 10 minutes walk from here there is a really hippie neighbourhood called Śródka with lots of restaurants and cafes - 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes by tram there is a historical city center for sightseeing, museums, restaurants, cafes etc. - There are 3 other lakes in the city with nice beaches, good for swim in the summer or even winter if you're keen on it :) If you're here by car and want to explore what's outside of the city: - The area called Greater Poland has more than 100 lakes. If you drive 30 minutes in any directions you will find a few lakes, forest etc. It is really a green area of Poland so if you like nature, you will definitely love it! - Berlin, Warsaw and Gdańsk are 3 hours drive from Poznań (or direct train!) so if you're here for a longer stay, you could visit them as well

Getting to my home

You can take the plane to Poznań (there are many direct flights from Europe destinations!), there is no need to have a car here. You can come by train, Flixbus etc. as well. Driving could be an option too, then except of the city you can enjoy the nature outside of it.

Nearest airport

Poznań-Ławica airport, 25 minutes by car/uber/taxi, 1 hour by public transport

Getting around

The apartment is really well-located. No need to have a car here if you plan only to stay in the city. You have a small shop in the next building, 5 minutes to supermarket. In 5 minutes you will get to the tram stop, that will take you to all the directions (city center and all the cool areas) in less than 15 minutes.

Anna

Hello, my name is Anna and we are a family of 4 (2 adults and 4 year old boy and a baby) who love to live life to the fullest. I am currently on maternity leave which gives me great oportunity to travel more. My husband Paweł works remotely, so basically we are very flexible. We have always loved travelling and getting to know new countries and cultures. We have not stopped travelling even after having kids, maybe the way of travelling has changed a little bit :) We are honestly open to any options because we believe each place in the world can be unique if you're really willing to explore.
