We had a perfect summer exchange☀️ Why? ☀️The Summer house🏡 ✅ Beautiful quiet location on tip of a peninsula with relaxing views towards the island of Öland ✅Spacious and well equipped - historical vibe (retro style, but original) combined with modern functions ✅ Beach 200 meters away, forest 500 meters away ✅ Other beautiful summer houses around to create lively atmosphere but still private. All neighbors are sweet and welcoming ✅ Dog friendly🐶 With dance around the property dogs are kept safe. Would work perfectly also with smaller children👼 ✅ Local summer bakery 400 meters away open Friday-Sunday🤩 ☀️Location💦🌳☀️ ✅ Close to the picturesque town of Kalmar. Kalmar has a good range of restaurants and shops as well as the main attraction the well preserved medieval Kalmar castle. ✅ Close to Öland - a wonderful island conveniently connected to main land with a 6 km bridge. Country side vibe combined with summer vibe. Borgholm castle ruin as well as the royal family’s summer residence with access to beautiful garden for visitors. Öland also has heaps of interesting geological and botanical attributes. Strong food culture! ✅ Beaches along the whole coastline as well as walking trails for active PLUers. Communication with Sara was easy, she is efficient and constructive. We also appreciated the vast information about the area they had collected for their guests. We really had the best of a Nordic summer😊

The house is great, in a beautiful location and with a large garden. The living room was well equipped and the kitchen was absolutely fantastic. Very complete and everything of high quality. The exchange went very well. Sara is very involved and flexible. Every question was answered quickly. The advice on what to do was good and complete. We had a wonderful time, partly thanks to the helpfulness of Sara, who assisted us with advice and assistance wherever possible. We also thank her for the tastiest cinnamon roll we ate in Sweden, which she baked for us herself! Even though the weather let us down, we had a wonderful holiday! We stayed in Sara's beautiful house in Kalmar for ten days. It is very well located in the city, close to the city center and close to the beautiful island of Öland. The house is very nicely decorated and we immediately felt at home. Thank you very much Sara and her family and look forward to seeing you in France next summer. We stayed in Malins and Martins beautiful house for a Pluto while attending a sports event. It’s located in a very cozy neighborhood, within comfortable driving distance to Gothenburg. The house itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere. When we returned to the house after a long day it was the perfect place to relax. We felt at home and comfortable from the time we arrived. We didn’t really spend much time outdoors since it was early January, snowy and frosty temperatures. But we would have loved a walk to the sea and the cliffs for a sunset view in the spring or summer! From the beginning, communication was clear, and easy. We really appreciate that! We stayed for a couple of nights in Ashleys lovely apartment in Stockholm for a Pluto! We felt at home immediately and the space was enough for us as a family of four with two adults and two teenage girls. The beds and the sofa bed were comfortable and very quiet although in a central location! To us the location was perfect! There is close to the metro and thereby easy access to all the sights or any other part of the city you want to explore! It was also easy to access with car. We were able to park on the streets (parking ticket needed) close to the apartment. Since we have been to Stockholm many times before we didn’t do any of the sites, we just enjoyed our family time, some shopping and tasty food for a few days during the children’s autumn break. We had great communication with Ashley before and during our stay. Everything with the exchange went very smoothly and we happily recommend an exchange with Ashley and her family! We stayed for five nights in Rebeccas’ lovely apartment in Berlin. It has a homey touch with lots of personality and comfy furniture and beds. It was clean, light and the space was more than enough for us as a family of four with two adults and two teenage girls, and we felt at home immediately! To us the location was perfect! There is easy access with U-Bahn/S-Bahn to the most central parts of Berlin, all the sights or any other part of the city you want to explore! The neighborhood is quiet and almost made us forget we stayed in a big city. It was also easy to access with car. We had planned to leave the car in a park and ride, but we were very lucky to be able to park for free on the streets just outside the apartment (it was temporary free parking). Being foodies, we really enjoy the pleasures of good food and spend a lot of time just walking around enjoying our time together as a family. Berlin is really a treat; we love the city and will be back for sure! We had top communication with Rebecca before and during our stay, and she made time in her schedule to meet us for coffee! Me, my husband and our two daughters Nora and Lynn stayed in Ingrids and Birgers home in July 2024. Their home has all the comfort and facilities you may need. Comfy beds, large garden, spacious kitchen and living areas. The house itself is beautiful and decorated in a typical Nordic style marked by simplicity, bright and natural wood tones. It is perfectly located for exploring Oslo and make day trips. It’s easy to access by car, and the metro is just a short walk from the house and only 5 stations until you are in the heart of Oslo. Being foodies, we really enjoy the pleasures of good food and spent much time just walking around enjoying our time together as a family. Oslo has all the benefits of a capital yet has the charm of a smaller city and the atmosphere is more relaxed! Everything about the exchange went according to plan! (Except for the Swedish summer that disappeared!) We had communication during their stay with questions about were to find a special thing or other just common questions that were easily solved! They treated our homes with great care and left us a much appreciated and special treat, a Hollandse Appeltaart! We can happily recommend them as exchange partners in every aspect!

Me and my husband and our daughters Nora and Lynn stayed in Anna-Lenas house in Moissy-Cramayel south-east of Paria for 8 days in the end of June 2023. Her home has all the comfort and facilities you may need and is perfectly located for daytrips visiting wine districs, explore the region, visiting castles, cute villages and more. As well as Paris! Being foodies we really enjoy the pleasures of good food, drinks, coffee, and pastries and spent much time just walking around enjoying our time together. Anna-Lena gave us tips of places to visit and how to travel and what travelcards that was the most benefitial to buy for RER-Trains and Metro. Britts familyhome were perfect for us when spending a few days in Jylland. We made trips to Silkeborg and Århus, and of course, to our main goal for this journey, Legoland in Billund where we spent two days! Their house is located in a quiet family friendly neighbourhood and offers nice view over the Danish landscape! The kids really liked the trampoline and to feed and cuddle with their cute rabbit!

Me and my husband stayed in Maria and Leos apartment in Utrecht for five days in the end of April/beginning of May. It is perfectly located within walking distance to all you may wish for, and the apartment has all the comfort and facilities you may need. Being foodies we really enjoyed the pleasures of good food, drinks, coffee, and sweets and spent much time just walking around enjoying our time together. With that said, I am sure our children, soon aged 10 and 13 would really love it here as well! I really think Utrecht offers you all the charm of Amsterdam, only better. We also found it very easy to travel by train and made daytrips both to Amsterdam and Den Haag. Since it was our first ever home exchange, we felt very safe exchanging with somebody more experienced in that area. The communication we had before, during and after our stay has been great and the made every effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable in their home during our stay! We happily recommend you visit Utrecht and if possible make an exchange with Maria and Leo! You want regret it! /Sara and Hampus
