General Overview

This is a separate fully self contained suite (attached to our house), just a short walk to Whistler village, lost lake, and the mountain! This suite is ideal for a couple, preferably no children. Our location is an easy walk to all of Whistler’s outdoor activities, restaurants and shopping. The Space

The suite has its own private entrance. The space is made up of a private fully self-contained suite with: - a primary bedroom with queen size bed - separate bathroom with shower/bath and washer/dryer - powder/toilet room, - fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, full size fridge - cozy living space with sofa (can convert to a comfortable king size bed) - outdoor patio with table and chairs

Guest Access

There are several steps from the driveway down to the suite entrance. Once inside the suite, there are no stairs as it is all on a single level. Our home is walking distance to both Whistler and Blackcomb villages, along the pedestrian valley trail system. And just at the end of our street, is the Lost Lake Park with trails for cross country mountain biking or cross country skiing or snowshoeing, or access to the lake for beach or dock swimming.

Notes

As the suite only has 1 separate bedroom, our place is ideally suited to a couple, or 2-3 adult friends who would be comfortable with someone staying on the king sofa bed in the living room. Please read our member profile to learn more about us and to see if you think we may be a good fit. We have home exchanged for many years on both this and other platforms. Neighbourhood

We are the closest residential neighbourhood to the Whistler village, so access to restaurants and all activities are easily walkable.

Nearest airport

YVR Vancouver Airport is just 1.5hours away, and there are several shuttle services available. The drive is along the Sea to Sky highway which is world renowned for its scenery, although during winter you must have Winter Snow rated tires because conditions can be challenging in severe conditions and can be unpredicable.

Getting Around

There are a number of supermarkets, either walking to the village for Fresh St Market or up to Nesters Rd for Nesters Grocery store. Both are 5 mins drive away. The village is a 5 mins drive, bike ride or 10-15 mins walk depending on where you want to get to. Retail, activities and restaurants are all easily accessible. There is a pedestrian 'valley trail' system which is accessible from the end of our street into the village, and to Whistler or Blackcomb ski lifts. Ski lockers may be available (for a fee) at Blackcomb base for weekly stays - ask about this and we can give you information, as this will allow you an easy walk home, leaving skis and boots at the base.
