Our home is a heritage cottage in the lovely leafy neighbourhood of Dunbar. It is a very short walk to the nearest bus stop just at corner of our street, which goes directly into Vancouver city centre.
We also have the beautiful Pacific Spirit Regional Park nearby (15mins walk) with an amazing network of trails for walking, running or cycling.
We’re close by to the University of British Columbia campus - again a short bus ride away.
Please note, I’m still Work in progress with setting up this home, and hoping to get it finalized with more photos etc in the coming weeks. Calendar Availability is not yet known for Winter 2026/27 or 2027.

It was a pleasure to host Toni's MIL, Ngaire here in North Vancouver, especially as I got the chance to meet her and show her around the house at the beginning of her stay. She was delightful and I only wish I could have spent more time visiting! She was also very respectful of my home and left it in perfect order, a very thoughtful guest and I wish her all the best in her plans to move back 'home' to New Zealand! Toni was also lovely and easy to communicate with in making all the arrangements. Another great PLU experience. :)
Toni and her family were great guests! They are kind, prompt, easy going, and just good people. They took good care of our place and left it in good condition. Toni and family are welcome back any time!
It was a real pleasure hosting Toni and her family! From the start, communication was easy and friendly. They treated our home with great care and left everything spotless. We were especially touched by the thoughtful gift of local maple syrup — such a kind and personal gesture. We’d be happy to host them again anytime or visit them if the opportunity comes up! Thank you Toni!
We are Whistler locals who love our town so much in the summer we decided we wanted to stay put in Whistler when another PLU family was visiting our home during a non-sim exchange ! Toni was so gracious to make to this globe exchange happen for us.
Toni’s home is AMAZING and very well appointed. Spotless, huge modern kitchen, every bedroom has its own gorgeous bathroom, big comfy beds, a large patio with a sectional to lounge on, a backyard with an incredible hand made climbing gym for the kids, a sauna and hot tub, a large recreation room to watch movies and play pool…the list goes on!
The location is perfect as well, just a short stroll down the street and onto the Valley Trail right into the Village.
Toni and her family are stellar people too. Thank you for offering your beautiful home to us!
Linda and I really enjoyed our stay in Toni and David's apartment. It is in a brilliant location, close to Stanley Park and a number of restaurants. The views from level 24 are amazing.
The apartment is well equiped and very comfortable. Toni was very welcoming and key pickup easy.
We wish we had stayed longer.
We were so grateful when Toni came through in response to a last minute plea for Vancouver in the group. Wow did we get lucky! Killer location, incredible views, and an awesome host! Everything was easy peasy with Toni and we would highly recommend this location and host to any future exchangers. We would be happy to reciprocate in the future, we hope our paths cross again.
Feedback for Marta·Non-Reciprocal exchange·8 nights
Marta is a wonderful host, very proactive and with great communication. She checked in on my mother-in-law while we were away, and was so helpful in ensuring everything was perfect. Her home is gorgeously decorated, with warm homely personal touches, and in a beautiful part of North Vancouver.
We highly recommend Marta to any future host or guest! Thank you again Marta for your kindness and generosity.
Feedback for Rita·Non-Reciprocal exchange·10 nights
Rita and her family were wonderful and friendly people, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to any host!
They were very proactive and clear in their communication while organizing the exchange, and sent great updates during their stay. They looked after our plants and left the place in excellent condition. We hope to be able to host them another time in the future! :-)
Feedback for Marine·Non-Reciprocal exchange·6 nights
Stuart and Marina were so welcoming during our pre-exchange video call and made our arrival effortless. We sincerely hope we get the chance to exchange with them again in the future.
Their gem of an apartment in the wonderful Stuytown community was a welcome refuge each day after the hustle and bustle of exploring Manhattan.
Their community is a New York highlight all its own. We were fortunate to experience the farmer’s market, morning coffees at Five Stuy Cafe and spend time relaxing in the Oval. It was almost easy to forget we were in one of the world’s biggest cities. Close to transport, shops and amazing restaurants, we couldn’t have imagined a better place to stay.
Thanks again Marina & Stuart & family!
Feedback for Anais·Non-Reciprocal exchange·7 nights
We had a fabulous stay at Anaïs & Stephen’s home. From the first PLU messages and video call, to our chats throughout our exchange, Anaïs was wonderful to communicate with. She provided many great tips for restaurants and places in the neighbourhood - which was very walkable and convenient. We also enjoyed the short walk to the subway which took us around Brooklyn, to Coney Island and also into Manhattan
Anaïs & Stephen’s home was gorgeous! Even better than the beautiful photos shown on their listing. It is spacious, and very tastefully decorated in modern and luxurious finishes with a lovely backyard, all in the heart of Brooklyn and close to the park! We loved our exchange with Anaïs and Stephen and we hope to return the honour in the future! Thank you again for a wonderfully comfortable and easy exchange!
Robert and Linda were great guests. We had easy communication before the exchange was finalized and then also in the lead up to their stay. They left our place in great condition and we really hope to be able to visit them in NZ sometime in the future! We highly recommend Robert and Linda to other hosts :-)
Feedback for Christina·Non-Reciprocal exchange·2 nights
Christina and her family were wonderful guests. Our home was left in a great condition when they departed! I really enjoyed getting to know Christina through our early conversations, messages and chats, which were friendly and easy.
Christina was easy going and respectful throughout.
I look forward to meeting her (and the family) in person sometime soon!
