Neighbourhood

Everything is within short easy walking distance including beach (just steps from the main entrance doors), cafes, great variety of beachfront restaurants, grocery store and specialty shops, movie theatre, bowling alley, amusement/games centre and a senior’s over 55’s centre with daily activities. Or if you like to visit the Gold Coast Theme Parks, they are between 30-60 mins drive. Movie world, Sea World, Wet’n’Wild, Dream World are all great for kids as well as the young at heart! About an hour inland by car is Mt Tambourine which is a beautiful rainforest area with trails, glow worms, and many other experiences. Brisbane is also accessible for a day trip - around 1 hr drive to experience the Riverbank, and many other activities. Or head south to Byron Bay in 45mins or inland 30-60mins to specialty craft boutique venues including Husk Distillery (for local gin and rum), and Stone & Wood Brewery. Macadamia farms and fruit orchards also abound.
