Neighbourhood

Jæren is a lovely part of Norway situated on the soutwest coast. its unique nature include some of the most beautiful beaches in our country ( at least according to me:) . Unfortunately it is not very often that we can a bath at the beaches because of the cold North Sea, but a walk along the beach is always an energy boost. You will find the beaches a 7 minute drive from the house. Nearby our house (5 min drive) is the small town of Bryne, which in recent years has gained several cozy restaurants and cafes. Stavanger is the largest nearby city, and it takes about 25 minutes by car to get there. In Stavanger there are many nice restaurants, shops and sights such as the streets of old Stavanger and the beautiful cathedral in the middle of the city center. If you want to go hiking, the famous Pulpit Rock is in our district. It is about a 45 minute drive from our home to the parking lot at the starting point of the hike. This is a hike that is highly recommended, the view of the Lysefjord from the plateau is absolutely magical! There are several other great mountain hikes you can go on in our district, and I will be more than happy to help recommend other hikes. if you want to discover the fjords. There are boats leaving from Stavanger harbour every day.

Nearest airport

Sola airport, 20 min drive from our house. it It is best to have a rental car when your exploring our area.

Getting Around

To get around the area around klepp it is probably best to use a car. Alternatively you can take both the bus and the train to nearby cities like Sandnes, Stavanger and Bryne. There is both a train station and a bus station nearby.
