Our house is surrounded by redwood trees yet has incredible light from all the windows and skylights. With a full gym, a kids playroom, and an amazing outdoor deck for lounging in the sun or eating meals, our house is the perfect place to find peace and also have a ton of fun.
Although we’re on a quiet street in the hills, it’s only a 15-minute walk through the redwoods to get to our cute little downtown which is always buzzing with family activities.
There are trails and ample hiking on our doorstep, as well as being only a 15 minute drive to the ocean, Muir Woods, or to the Golden Gate Bridge. Our house, and our town, is absolute magic!
The Space
The open living space of the main floor is perfect for families to gather. We also recently installed Miele appliances in the kitchen, so cooking feels extra special and luxurious.
The playroom is right behind the kitchen, so your kiddos are never too far from view. The playroom has a queen sized Murphy bed as well. There is a gated deck off the playroom, and down the deck stairs are multiple hangout pads (including one with a mud kitchen).
There’s also a full gym on the main floor, and a laundry room with a large washer and dryer.
Downstairs you’ll find three bedrooms. Two have twin beds (one with a trundle), and the master bedroom has a king size Bryte mattress and two BedJets that keep you cool at night.
The master bathroom has a large soaking tub with a beautiful view of the redwoods.
Each room (including the upstairs) has its own split AC unit, so there’s no need to fight about the temperature. :]
Off the master bedroom is a large deck with a comfy L-shaped sofa and a patio table that seats six. There’s a space heater for cooler nights, so having dinner outside is great no matter the season.
Down a few steps from the deck is a separate, fully equipped office tucked amongst a family of redwood trees.
Guest Access
Our house is on a hill, so it’s split into three levels. Stairs come with the territory. :]

Neighbourhood
The house is up a hill, but there’s a shortcut to walk down to the main road which winds along a beautiful wooded street and brings you to a very special playground, the town library, and the downtown within 10-15 minutes.
Our house is perfect for quiet getaways, nature adventures, and even exploring San Francisco which is an easy 20 minute drive.
Getting to my home
Flying into SFO is your best bet if you’re coming from out of state
Nearest airport
SFO is about 50-60 mins from the house
Getting Around
You can walk 15 mins to the downtown which has a very cute grocery store, or you can drive to Whole Foods or Safeway which are both about 15 mins by car.
Having a vehicle here is your best bet, especially if you want to explore all the outdoor adventures or nearby towns (Sausalito, San Francisco, etc).
