The Space

Our light-filled Eichler-style 3BR/1BA home offers easy access to the outdoors, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on a native flower garden with birds & butterflies, a wrap around back deck and a spacious and private back yard with a growing food forest. We chose luxury furniture & bedding to maximize your comfort, with a King bed in the Master BR, and a plush Queen bed, both with direct access to the back deck & yard. The third BR has a bunk bed with 2 queen beds! You'll also find free fast wifi, central heating and air conditioning, a well-appointed kitchen, fireplace, BBQ, laundry, games, books, & secure bike parking.

Getting to my home

A lovely one hour drive from Melbourne, VIC, Australia (possible manual car available from eastern suburbs of Melbourne). 90 min drive from the International Airport. Also accessible by cheap public transport (2.5 pleasant hours from Melbourne City).

Nearest airport

MEL - Melbourne International Airport is 90 min drive away, or 3 hours on public transportation for only $29 AUD.

Getting Around

10-15 minute drive to Warburton or Yarra Junction for grocery shopping, cafes, restaurants, pubs, markets and shops. Local shops 10 min walk include basic groceries, local artisan cheeses, gourmet ice cream shop, bakery/deli, gift shop and fish & chip shop. Also a monthly outdoor market here. Short walk to the bus to the cute towns of Warburton, Wesburn, Yarra Jct, and the Lilydale train station. Or walk/ride on the Rail Trail just 2 blocks (260m) away from the front door!
