Neighbourhood

The Rural and Scenic Village of El Castillo is located about 15 miles from La Fortuna. Surrounded by lush rolling pasture Lands and Rain forest, it has a Uniqueness all its own. Our Home is close to Lake Arenal, the Volcano and all of the most popular adventure activities as well as several restaurants and small markets in the village.

Getting Around

We always strongly recommend that our guests reserve a 4x4 SUV, not for traction but for road clearances. Relying solely on public transportation can be difficult, as we live in a very quiet and rural area. The house is located 3.5 from either Airport, 30 minutes from La Fortuna and 1 km from the little village of El Castillo.
