The sea view from the main balcony is so amazing that you will not want to leave home.
But, if you do, you will have the closest beach at 2 minutes walking and many others at walking distance; restaurants and shops right down the street and lovely walking/hiking trails nearby (both sea and mountain ones, as the village is located where the Pyrenees mountains meet the sea).
You can also enjoy many cultural visits in the area: medieval monasteries; beautiful villages such as Cadaqués or Girona; Dalí museum in Figueres, etc.
Barcelona , at 1 or 2 hours by train (depending on the one you choose), is easy to visit.
The Space
The house has two balconies. The front one with its sea views is amazing. But do not forget the little one at the back: with its view of a traditional Mediterranean white street and of the church, it will lead you to another world.
Both tables and couches of the living room have little wheels so that you can easily adapt the space to your convenience.

Neighbourhood
Beautiful Mediterranean fisherman village.
Extremely safe and quiet.
Only busy with tourists during August, but still one of the more quiet places you can be in the Spanish coast at the pick of the summer. In August there are plenty of cultural activities: the "Festa Major" ( annual village party) of this and nearby villages, with its free live music by the sea, traditional dances, etc; or classical music concerts in stunning locations such as the medieval Sant Pere de Rodes monastery (amongst others).
Getting to my home
Train at the next village (Llançà)
Bus to Port de la Selva.
From Barcelona or Girona (and their airports), you could come through a combination of train and bus or directly by bus.
Nearest airport
Girona, 1 h. Barcelona 2 h. Toulouse 3 h.
Getting Around
Walking distance to bus stop.
The bus can take you different nearby locations, amongst them the nearby village of Llançà, where you can take the train to many places, including Barcelona and France.
Depending on the exchange, I could be able to leave my car for you.

Staying at Yvonne’s apartment was fantastic.
It is nice and super comfortable, with everything we needed. My mum and I enjoyed two double rooms (with amazing mattresses) and one bathroom each. The place was left very clean and well prepared for us.
Communication with Yvonne was great. She sent us videos showing how to find the apartment and the building amenities. She also arranged for her neighbours to leave the keys somewhere for us, as we were arriving late. These neighbours, friendly and very welcoming people, were really a plus to our stay. Thanks again for everything Yvonne, and you are always welcomed to my place!

I will need to be in Miami for about 3 weeks in October or November 2025, and I would swap my apartment for one there. It doesn't need to be simultaneous, as I could go to my other apartment in Barcelona while you stay at home.

l will need to stay for 3 weeks in October or November, flexible. I could exchange for only part of this time or for more if you would like a longer exchange."
