Neighbourhood
This is a very peaceful area, 15 minutes by car from downtown Montreal. You can also take the bus right on the corner to get to Montreal easily (about 20 minutes). About a 5 minute drive from home, you can also use a boat shuttle to get to the Montreal old port since Boucherville sits on the St-Lawrence river, on the south shore od Montreal. A nice way to enjoy the river, the scenery and relax while getting there.
A playground with water games, game modules, and ice rink in winter is two blocks away. Several shops nearby as well (see ''getting around'' section).

Getting Around
Our small town offers a wide range of interesting restaurants, a nice public market with seasonal fruits (strawberries are unbeatable in June and July!), as well as an easy and fast public transport network to Montreal.
We are less than 15 minutes from the Montreal Botanical Garden and the Olympic Stadium, the Old Port of Montreal (boat shuttle from Boucherville can also make for an easy and relaxing trip there!) and downtown. We are also 2 hours drive from Quebec City and Mont Tremblay, about 1h30 from Eastern Townships East of US Customs. We can swap a car if needed and give you access to our bikes.

Hello! We are a family of 5 people: Sarah, Ben, Adèle (9 years old), Damien (8 years old) and Théodore (4 years old). I work as a public health professional and Ben is an engineer. We have exchanged several times via another platform and a few times here on PLU. We are convinced that this is the best way to travel! We love the outdoors, especially hiking and downhill skiing, good food and wine. And of course, we love to travel, meet people and have new experiences. We are non-smokers, we don't have pets (but we would like to take care of yours!). We will take care of your home as if it were our own. We only have one house to offer in exchange (it is our main residence), but we are open to non-simultaneous exchanges since we have the possibility of staying with our parents.
