General Overview

Single storey house (without floor) of 110m2 with a large living/dining room with open kitchen. 3 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and bath, 1 separate toilet and a storeroom overlooking the garage.

The Space

Outside, a large terrace covered with a pergola allows you to enjoy a grassy area. We will also share our vegetable garden which will give you good fruits and vegetables to cook. We travel a lot by bike. We have 2 adult electric bikes, 2 adult bikes and a 24 inch bike. You can enjoy the many cycle paths from the village.

Notes

We welcome 4 small hens in our chicken coop at the back of the house who give us good fresh eggs every morning, in exchange for some little care.

The area has many cycle paths that can be reached directly from the house. The nearest town is 3 kms away with all amenities (supermarkets, organic grocery stores, doctors, train station). A large leisure complex is 1.5 kms away (so easily accessible by bike or on foot) with a large cinema, bowling, laser maxx, mini night golf, restaurants, shops.

  • Jeans house is so beautiful! We had the best holiday in their home in Altorf. It is open plan with a wonderful outdoor area. The hot tub provided us with many lovely evenings. We loved caring for their chickens - a massive plus for our children! Altorf is a lovely, quiet village. We enjoyed walking around it as a family. So many nice places to visit nearby including Colmar and my husbands favourite was the historical sites of Bugatti which are just next to Altorf. Highly recommend!
