General Overview

A beautiful desert setting very close to restaurants, museums, golf courses , hiking trails, and 20-30 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Scottsdale is an upscale community with 250,000 residents. So much to do and see. Also, two hours from beautiful red rock Sedona, 3-1/2 hours from the Grand Canyon, 5 hours from Las Vegas, and 6 hours from San Diego, CA.

The Space

Smoking is strictly prohibited in our house and on our patio. Three of four bedrooms are available in this single level, 3100 SF home with large kitchen and all the conveniences of home, including toaster oven, toaster, microwave,coffee maker and electric tea kettle, 65” TV, family room, living room, small pool and spa. Master bedroom is on the other side of the house for greater privacy and has large en-suite bath and closet. Door to patio from bedroom . Of the two other guest bedrooms, one has ensuite bath. Amazing desert views from common spaces and master bedroom. NEW IN 2026: Remote controlled Cooling Misters on our patio ! These are a special treat for those who enjoy sitting out in the hotter weather but appreciate the comfort a light mist that cools the area by 10 to 20 degrees F.

Guest Access

Although not wheelchair accessible, everything is on one level. One step up from front entrance and garage and one step up into shower. Showers have safety bars. Access to our home is via a combination lock, the code to which will be given to you shortly before your arrival date.

Notes

Our home is not suitable for children. Older teens welcome with their parents. Because of growing community dislike of short term occupancy, we are very sensitive to the needs of our neighbors. We do not wish to exchange with "party-goers" or those who may be loud and inconsiderate toward our community. Our home has exterior cameras (none inside the house) and in the garage. We do not allow additional guests, relatives or friends beyond what has been agreed to prior to finalization of the exchange agreement. Additional guests will be asked to leave immediately. We hate having to put these requirements into our listing but it is necessary to ensure compliance with our local regulations and policies .

Neighbourhood

Many restaurants, museums, golf courses and hiking trails nearby. The UNESCO World Heritage Site Frank Lloyd Wright winter residence and school of architecture is less than five minutes away. The world renowned Musical Instrument Museum is a 15 minute drive. Downtown Scottsdale is a 20 minute drive by car or by the free Scottsdale Trolley. Beautiful hiking trails are in the immediate vicinity of our home.

Getting to my home

Fly into Phoenix’s Sky Harbor International Airport and take rental car (or Uber) for the 20-30 minute drive to Scottsdale.
