General overview
Incredible relaxing and private accommodation in a healthy nature sanctuary. Its location is outside of the village in a very cozy private area.
My home is a newly constructed wooden lofthouse with modern insulation like flocculated walls and triple glas for lowest energy consumption. The top floor is overshadowed to the South keeping off direct sunlight from May to August but inviting the low wintersun into the house.
You may come for a visit all year long - During summer the house stays comfortable cool and during winter the underfloor heating delivers a mellow indoor climate. You may also lite up the Swedish fireplace and make it super cozy inhouse.
Bigsize windows offer spectacular views in all direction (just one neighbour).
The unstructured garden has 2500 qm and is daily visited by friendly animals from singing birds, sea birds to squirrel and jackrabbits up to small deer. The meadow needs some mowing or scything during summer. Sure you may do some gardening for pleasure but there is no joblist to do.
My home belongs to Felde, a central village lucky to have all facilities in reach: e.g. Supermarket, Doctors, Pharmacie, Banks, Kindergarden, Sportclub with indoor/ outdoor activities, different lakeside shores, Riding-, Fishing- and Sailing Clubs, Railway Station, Highway exit, ...
Transportation is easy in all directions, e.g. 20 min to Kiel (Capitol city of Schleswig-Holstein, Olympic Sailing Partner, Operator of Kiel Week, the World biggest Sailing Regatta event, Harbour of Cruise- and Ferryboats) or 30 min. to reach one of many Ostsee beaches around the Kiel bay (incl. Kitesurf schools, Sailing schools).
The space
The house is a 2,5 level spacy loft (incl. topfloor storage deck). Instead of tiny rooms there is open space in both floors for maximum light and convenience... Ideal for singles and couples (with small children).
There are open areas like kitchen, dining, lounge, arts & crafts, office, sleeping partly separated but with no doors except for the restrooms (see pics).
Its perfect for 2 grown-ups in friendly conjunction, still you can always have your privacy. Making just one step outside and you are fully embraced by mother nature.
Notes
While looking thru my pics please note that i am living there daily ..,., thats how it looks like :>)
As soon as any visitors are arriving, the place will be almost free of my private stuff.

Getting around
Within 1 hour drive to the North you cross the border to Denmark, to the South you are in fashionable Hamburg. To the West you reach the wild North Sea (Sylt, Helgoland, Hallig islands, plenty beaches and the unique Wattenmeer) and direction West passing Kiel you may discover Lübeck, Fehmarn and many more interesting sights and beautiful landscapes. This province is ideal for bike riders of all ages since we only have small pitches to climb.

Nice people travelling around Northern Germany are welcome for a rest.
Hello people, my name is Niklas. I was born in 1960 in Germany. After Economy Studies in Vienna (my moms birthplace) i worked 35 years as a serial digital media entrepreneur.
I love travelling around, visited plenty of countries and moved my home from Kiel to Hamburg to Munich to Vienna to Miami and back to Northern Germany. Here i live today on the countryside as a lucky "captain in my wooden ship" (the house was build 2017).
My travelling plans:
I can make a longterm vacation (e.g. 10-14 weeks between Nov till March) either somewhere in Southern Europe or in the tropical sun of southeast asia, central america, caribean sea. I have not been to Africa yet.
I am open for home exchange or rent, within 5 years i also to sell.
You are very welcome in my green Lofthouse in the wild countryside of Schleswig-Holstein - the northern Germany State next to Denmark, located between the North Sea/ Nordsee and the Baltic Ocean/ Ostsee -
Just drop me a line and lets have a chat... Nick
