Neighbourhood
We live in a Very quiet street and some neighbours do not live permanently here. Our other permanent neighbours are very helpful and quiet. The town is quiet most of the year, but busier during peak seasons. We have a few nice restaurants nearby to walk to and a local pub.
There is a great live music vibe to our town. Most restaurants feature live music once a week and our street has its own booking every Sunday afternoon at our local restaurant for a fabulous afternoon of live music and wine and some food. We all get together and chat and dance. Most are retired or semi retired and we all travel so there’s plenty to talk about and compare notes. Of course anyone staying at our house would be welcomed with open arms at our specially reserved table!
Nearest airport
Bundaberg or Gladstone are 1.5 hours drive away.
Getting Around
You can walk to most places fro our home but there is a courtesy bus to and from some venues. Our car may be available by request. We also have 2 electric bikes and ordinary bikes are also available for hire locally, as are E scooters.
