General Overview

Super quaint cottage style home near Big Bear Lake. Close to shopping and about 20 minutes from the slopes the location is great. Our cottage sleeps 6 comfortably but can hold up to 8-10 guests with additional sleeping in the converted attic. Small living room that opens up to the kitchen. New jacuzzi hot tub outside and large fence for privacy so you can soak and enjoy nature.

The Space

Open living room and kitchen downstairs with one bathroom and a full size sleeper sofa. Upstairs there's a den area with one queen and a twin bed. That leads you into the private bedroom also upstairs with a queen bed. There is a washer and dryer in the closet in the master bedroom upstairs so you can pack light. Full bathroom with bathtub shower combo upstairs. Two balconies overlook the property on each side, one facing the street and the other facing the neighbors across the way. Ladder leads up to the converted attic for additional sleeping with 3 more twin size beds. Jacuzzi hot tub is outside to the left of the home when you face the front door. Fully fenced yard and pets welcomed.

3 floors in total. Guests have access with the lockbox through the front door. There is an additional door in the back of the home as well.

Neighbourhood

Big Bear Lake is known as a local Southern California escape from the busy hustle and bustle of the surrounding counties such as LA, San Bernardino, and San Diego. It has awesome fishing and boating in the summer and skiing and boarding in the winter. The snow is gorgeous in these mountains but it's equally scenic in the summer and really year round.

Getting to my home

You have to drive up through the mountains. Driving or renting a car is really the only way to get here.

Ontario airport is about 1 hour away

Getting Around

I'm about 5 minutes from shops, 15-20 from the slops, 15 from the lake, and 5 minutes from trails and hiking.

We’re a super fun and loving family of five! Don’t worry we stopped ourselves surgically so no more kids!! We love the sun, beach, and everything outdoors. We can also cut it up in the city. We enjoy traveling seeing the world and meeting new smiling faces. We got married in Hawaii so I guess you could say our love was built around travel and seeing awesome places. Our goal is to continue to travel and start to open up our beautiful home so more families can also check out our gorgeous town San Diego, CA.
