Neighbourhood

Our lakeside neighborhood is quiet. We walk five minutes to the pier for sunsets, fishing, kayaking, Black North Restaurant, and the lighthouse museum. Oak Orchard River draws fishermen from far and wide throughout three seasons. Salmon fishing is HUGE, and charter boats are a phone call away. Groceries are 15 minutes away in Albion, NY as is the Erie Canal bike path. Band concerts every Tuesday in the summer are a ten minute walk at our local park. A local farm market offers produce, ice cream, Amish baked goods and a food truck menu. Some weekends a live band plays there also.

Getting to my home

By air: Fly into either Rochester or Buffalo, NY. By car: Rt. 18 runs east to west along Lake Ontario. Rt. 98 runs north to south from Batavia, NY.

Nearest airport

Rochester, NY airport is 45 minutes southeast of our cottages.

Getting around

A car is a necessity. Two restaurants in walking distance.
