Our home is spacious and comfortable for a solo traveler, couple, group, or family. We live in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle; its central location is ideal for exploring all of the city and beyond. Easy access to downtown and freeways, plus close to Green Lake, University of Washington. Our home is in a quiet area yet walkable to grocery, restaurants, pubs, and transit!

We both work from home and have excellent wifi. When you come back to the house after a day out you can watch a show or movie on the living room TV, which has almost every streaming service (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc.). Want to host meals here? Our kitchen is well equipped for almost anything you'd want to whip up.

Neighbourhood

Our neighborhood, Wallingford, is like a small town, with restaurants, groceries, drugstores, and almost anything you'd need nearby. It's easy to get to downtown Seattle, the University of Washington, and many other neighborhoods (Ballard, Capitol Hill, Green Lake) on public transit or by car. From here you can easily take day/short trips to Mt. Rainier, Olympic National Park, and other beautiful destinations. 

Families with children will appreciate Meridian Park, with a playground, across the street. On Wednesday afternoons/evenings during the summer the park hosts a farmers market that's a neighborhood gathering place.

Getting to my home

Driving: Easy access from 1-5. It's easy to park in front of our house. We also have an EV charger. 

Flying: The SeaTac airport is 17 miles to the south; plenty of car share, taxi, and car rental options. Link light rail from the airport has stops within a couple miles from our house. You can take another bus to within a few blocks.

Nearest airport

SeaTac airport is 17 miles to the south. A very small airport called Paine Field is 20 miles to the north; it serves only west coast cities and Hawaii and is a breeze if you have that option.

Getting Around

Many shops and restaurants and within easy walking distance. To get further afield, you'll be close to bus routes and light rail. We're happy to provide detailed transit advice to visitors.
