General Overview
A recently renovated villa with a unique, art-filled charm and a hip, personalized vibe. Perfect for families with children and animal lovers, this home offers both style and comfort. Conveniently located, it’s just a 7-minute walk to the metro station and within a 20-30 minute drive to all of Dubai’s iconic attractions.
The Space
Our home features a spacious open floor plan, with a large living area seamlessly connected to a beautiful kitchen and dining space, perfect for family gatherings and entertaining.
Upstairs, you'll find three bedrooms – a master suite, a playful kid’s room filled with toys, and a cozy guestroom – along with a family room that doubles as a private cinema.
On the ground floor, there’s an additional room currently used as an art studio and workshop, ideal for creative projects.
Outside, we have a generous garden, perfect for BBQs and picnics, offering plenty of space for outdoor relaxation.
Our gated community also provides convenient access to a gym and swimming pool, just steps away from our front door.
Notes
We have a live-in helper, which is quite common in Dubai, who is incredibly kind and attentive. She takes care of daily tasks like laundry, cleaning, and cooking, making your stay even more comfortable. She has her own private space on the ground floor and typically takes one day off each week.
We also share our home with a very cute and friendly dog, perfect for those who enjoy morning or evening walks, and two outdoor cats who add a bit of character to the garden

If guests were on a scale of 1-10, Sehee and Kevin would get an 11. They are fantastic people, and we were delighted to welcome them into our home. They are very kind and gracious. We found the house in pristine condition, as if no one had ever used it. We received wonderful surprises from them, and most importantly, wonderful letters. It was very kind; even their son wrote us a message; it's a fantastic keepsake. We regret that their stay was so short and hope they return to Warsaw again, so we can visit them in Dubai. We are incredibly fortunate to meet such wonderful people at PLU, and we add Sehee and Kevin to that list. Our home is always open to them.
Sehee, Kevin and Eisen are my most wonderful guests.
They are very friendly, interested and left my house in impeccable condition.
We recommend them to anyone who wants to exchange with them.
Sehee was always very kind and direct in her messages. She was patient with me, even though I don't speak English and I could only communicate with her slowly, using Google Translate.
I was happy that their eight-year-old son enjoyed using our toys and the pool.
I loved that they noticed and appreciated my garden.
I always worried a lot about whether this area and my house were interesting enough for an exchange home.
This incredibly kind and sympathetic family strengthened me.
I finally realized that people aren't always looking for the most beautiful, the best, and the most amazing place.
Getting to know the diversity of our world can also be a joy.
We would be happy to host them again! 😍🐶
Made some new friends! Sehee and Kevin were fantastic guests! We had a really great time hosting them. They are very independent and are able to find their own activities but also very sociable and open to hanging out. We shared a few meals together and exchanged travel stories and experiences and it was great to learn about the world through their unique experience and living in Dubai. They also had an 8-year old son who they warned us likes to talk a lot. I found it very fun having conversations with him since he was so comfortable talking and asking questions. He definitely is not shy so it made it really easy to engage with him and laugh. We also found a video game to play together which was super fun! Very great family and very fun to host. We would host them anytime and anywhere! Hope to see them again!
Renate and Darek’s family felt like more than just a home exchange. It felt like meeting another Polish family who truly welcomed us as their own. Even though we arrived very late at night, they picked us up from the airport, and like Santa, they had prepared many Christmas presents just for us.
Throughout our stay, each family member took turns looking after us and helping us enjoy our trip in Poland.
Their house was warm, stylish, and beautifully reflects their neat and thoughtful taste. There wasn’t a single corner that didn’t feel cared for.
Thanks to them, our Christmas trip to Poland became truly special and unforgettable. We would love to come back in a warmer season to see the beautiful country again, and most of all, to visit them once more.
Timea’s home in Balsa was nothing short of a little paradise for our family.
From the moment we arrived, our son didn’t want to leave. He happily spent all three days just enjoying the house and garden.
The yard was filled with fruit trees, a beautifully cared-for garden full of Timea’s personal touch, and a treasure trove of fun things for kids: from badminton, scooters, billiards, and pool gear to board games. Every morning, we’d kick off the day playing badminton or tennis right in the yard.
At the heart of it all was the swimming pool, which made our holiday absolutely perfect. Add to that the cutest little dog, Mici, and some chickens freely roaming the garden, it truly felt like an organic, peaceful haven.
When we arrived, Timea welcomed us with a freshly baked Hungarian pie that was so delicious we finished the whole thing in one sitting! As if that wasn’t enough, the welcome gift of Tokaji wine and sweet little strawberries from the garden completely melted our hearts.
The location is also great. Famous Tokaj wineries are just a relaxed 25-minute drive away, and there are several supermarkets within a 10-minute drive. For something quick, there’s a Coop market just 5 minutes away on foot where you can pick up lunch or dinner items easily.
Timea checked in with us every morning and evening to make sure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to welcome her family to Dubai and return the incredible kindness and hospitality they gave us.
Her home in beautiful Balsa completely gave us some of the best memories of our time in Hungary.
Alyssa and Toan's home felt just like ours. Warm, cozy, and welcoming, like visiting old friends.
They greeted us with a lovely welcome wine and snacks for our child, and made sure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Their kindness and attention to detail really made a difference.
Their place is located in a lively neighborhood full of great food spots, so every morning was a chance to try something new. We could easily walk to the Jewish Quarter with its famous ruin bars, relax in small nearby parks, or hop on a tram or bus to reach all the main sights in no time.
What really touched us was that on our last night in Budapest, they even offered to look after our 8-year-old son so my husband and I could enjoy a little date night. It was such a thoughtful and generous gesture.
We feel like we’ve made new friends in Hungary and can’t wait to welcome them in Dubai anytime!

We are a family of 3 from Korea, residing in Dubai for 10 years.
We love to explore to meet different part of the world and fly out around 4~5 times a year.
Surprisingly (as most people don't know about), Dubai has a quite a lot of green areas just like where we live in, and also there are so many beautiful beaches. During winter, Dubai turns into a perfect destination as the weather is just beautiful (between 20~27 degree) for the outdoor activities and beaches, and all the big events and festivals take place all over the city and there is no dull moment.
Even though Dubai is quite a hustling and bustling city, our area where we live is the most green, peaceful and family-oriented community in Dubai surrounded by a big park, lake and many restaurants.
I am an art director and introduce Korean art/artists in the UAE. With this reason, it will be another joy to discover many beautiful artworks by talented Korean artists displayed in our house.
