The apartment is a compact area currently used as caretaker's accomodation and located in a building on a main road that provides rental offices. The apartment is comfortable and would suit a couple who may want a base to visit Magnetic Island, Airlie Beach or Mission Beach or may want to be close to family members living in Townsville so they can visit them at will giving their family their own personal space as well as themselves. The office area would support any business activity that the visiters need to undertake while on holidays as there are printers, photo copiers, security shredding, boardroom and reception facilities.

The space

There is space around the building which is located on a main road, in a residential area, it is fully air conditioned self contained and offers a good degree of privacy.

Guest access

Their is one flight of stairs to access the buiding, therefore wouldn't suit anyone with mobility problems. Parking is available under the building for up to 2 cars, or a four wheel drive vehicle and caravan on a concreate parking area within the yard.

THINGS TO DO Walking - Leave the front door and walk up Castle Hill, or walk down the beautiful Strand. Dining - Walk to the local Thai Restaurant or Fish & Chips Shop and Cafe. Entertainment - Visit the Townsville Casino or the many restaurants in Palmer Street. Sport - The Rowes Bay Golf Club is a 5 minute drive away.

A small ground floor apartment would suit us near shopping unless we have been provided transport. We live a quiet life, we are non smokers but enjoy a nice wine or quality single malt scotch.
