General overview

We have lakes for water activities, museums, art, gardens, urban hiking trails, tons of festivals and all the cheese and beer you could want. Walkable neighborhood near downtown, campus and lakes. Located in the Tenney-Lapham neighborhood just a quick 2 mile/10 minute drive or 15 minute bike ride from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Many of us in the neighborhood work on Campus. Easy bus ride as well. 20+ bars/restaurants within walking distance. Located on the Isthmus between Lakes Monona and Mendota. 1 block from Lake Monona.

4 bedrooms/2 full baths. Small fenced backyard with grill, patio and table.

There are several stairs to enter the house. The bedrooms are all on the second floor up a staircase. There is one full bathroom on the second floor and one on the first floor.

Walkable, bikable neighborhood close to downtown, parks, lakes. Catch a show at Breese Stevens Field or the Sylvee. Eat at the many restaurants in walking distance. The downtown square farmer’s market is easily accessible. Less than two miles to UW-Madison and the Memorial Union Terrace. Great location for visiting campus. Things to do: -Memorial Union Terrace -Olbrich Botanical Gardens and Bolz Conservatory https://www.olbrich.org -Bike the Lake Loop: biking around Lake Monona! It’s a 13 mile paved lakefront bike trail -Wisconsin State Capitol Building -Saturday Farmer’s Market with 300+ local vendors and stroll State Street and pedestrian only street connecting the Capitol Square to the Memorial Union Terrace where you can have food and drink along the lake. -Hike the UW Arboretum which features over 1200 acres of prairies, trails, wetlands and forests, all right in Madison -Many local breweries/distilleries: Working Draft, Giant Jones, Funk Factory, Delta Beer Lab, One Barrel Brewing, Alt Brew, Karben4, Old Sugar Distillery - The free Henry Vilas Zoo -Madison Children’s Museum -Dine at Garver Feed Mill is a historic mill-turned hub for local artisans and businesses.
