Neighbourhood

The accommodation is located in the Baixa district, which is highly sought after to enjoy all the advantages of the city. Another characteristic: the accommodation is located in a pedestrian cul-de-sac. Olhão is not yet a victim of mass tourism and offers the opportunity to easily discover authentic and wild places of the Eastern Algarve (Cacela Velha, Tavira, Alcoutim, ..) 15 minutes from Faro airport! Close to the Ria Formosa, local shops, bars and restaurants, the famous Olhão market and the boarding dock for the paradise islands. Ferries take you to the islands of Armona, Culatra and Farol. (See updated schedules in photos) For those who don't know Olhão, the cubic city and capital of the Ria Formosa, to try it is to adopt it! Lovers of architecture, nature, wildlife, authenticity, uniqueness will remain charmed. You will not find it difficult to park your vehicle free of charge in one of the two large free car parks 300m from the house. If your intentions for a stay are limited to Olhão and its surroundings, you should know that car rental is really not essential. Most of the points of interest, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. A playground for the youngest is close to the house in the Jardim Pescador Olhanense as well as a sports area for adults You also have the bus station and the train station 10 minutes walk away, taxi and Uber.
