We were honored to be the very first PLU guests in Linda and Dale's lakeside living home. We enjoyed the gorgeous lake views in the morning (with a misty fog), all throughout the day with boats going about their happy maritime way, and especially in the late afternoon with a glass of wine.
The weather for our visit was perfect, so we spent most of our time outside although the home was very spacious so we could spread out and even exercise in the basement. We loved meals at the kitchen table while enjoying great views.
Communication with Linda was always prompt and easy.
We found many pleasant activities in the area, including driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway for autumn leaf peeping, visiting The Blowing Rock for easy views, and driving up Grandfather Mountain for spectacular 360 panoramic views of mountains. A big highlight for us both was a visit to the Hickory Aviation Museum where a retired Top Gun pilot showed us around.
