Neighbourhood

Beautiful, tranquil location right near kilometres of walking / cycling ocean front paths. Overlooking the Coral Sea, across the road from Barolin Rocks diving/snorkelling (southern most point of the Great Barrier Reef). A convenience store is 1 minute drive, great bakery is 3 minute drive, large grocery stores 10 minute drive, Elliott Heads sand beach swimming (next suburb), Bargara just 10 minutes away, Mon Repos Turtle Sanctuary 15 minute drive, Bundaberg Rum Distillery 20 minute drive, golf course in suburb of Coral Cove, bowls club in Elliott Heads, Tinaberries 5 minute drive for great fruit icecream.

Nearest airport

20 minute drive east of Bundaberg Domestic Airport (BDB), Queensland 3 hour 15 minute drive north of Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY), Queensland 4 hour 15 minutes drive north of Brisbane Airport (BNE), Queensland

Getting around

You will need a car to get around and see this stunning region. In Australia driving is on left hand side of road (driver sits on right hand side of car). Take care to watch out for our wildlife if driving early morning or dusk. Train comes through Bundaberg (from Brisbane), buses/coaches too.
