Getting Around

We live in the immediate vicinity of the city center of Bensheim: A few hundred meters to shopping (bakery, butcher, retail, etc.). For hiking, it is also only a few hundred meters: the natural landscape begins - meadows, vineyards, forest, agricultural land ... By car or bus it is a few minutes to the Odenwald - for example to the world-famous Felsenmeer (Lautertal) or to Lindenfels, Michelstadt, Erbach etc. Or to the World Heritage Site Lorsch Monastery, to Heppenheim (Martin-Buber-Haus, etc.) ... to the Rhine near Worms ... By car it is just over half an hour to Speyer (Speyer Cathedral is a World Heritage Site - the largest preserved Romanesque church in the world) or to Mainz (Dom / Rhine).
