General Overview

Our new home in a very friendly small town in the heart of Southern Alberta, where you can experience the Canadian prairies , enjoy historic western heritage in town, historical sites within very easy access, as well as to the Canadian Rocky Mountain. Calgary is a short drive north with all large city attractions and ammenities as well as home of the famous Calgary Stampede. High River also hosts rodeo and chuckwagon races. High River is the home of THE WALTER BOYS and HEARTLAND (iconic CBC series), where many other movies and series have been filmed.

The Space

Our home, built in 2023 is designed to be simply comfortable in an easy living space. We have 3 bedrooms (for sleeping up to 6-8 guests), 3 bathrooms, 2 on a main floor and 1 in our spacious basement.

Neighbourhood

High River is a smaller Alberta town (Population of 15K), and our neighbourhood is quiet, peaceful and provides easy access to the enjoyment of the great Canadian Praries. We are centrally located, within an hour's drive of Calgary, and a longer scenic drive to Banff, Canadian National Parks and many very interesting sites of southern Alberta. For your Downhill Skiing pleasure there are several fantastic resorts to choose from, all within a 2 hour drive maximum.

Getting to my home

Calgary International Airport is less than 1 hour away, major highways are easily accessible but no major public transportation. High River does have taxi service.

Calgary YYC, less than 1 hour easy driving time

Getting Around

High River is designed to be comfortable walking or driving to restaurants of many kinds, groceries, coffee shops, parks, playgrounds, etc. Very friendly town to enjoy.
