General Overview

Imagine walking into a home with the sound of waves!  Fully open to the bay, salt air, waves and full-on sunlight.

Hear that splash?  That's the sound of huge Blue Whales breaching literally yards of your balcony!  Relax with a private massage on the terrace and the sound of waves.  Have a private chef cook an amazing meal to share with friends.  Have a recommended stylist come to you while enjoying the sea air and view of the bay.

Watch Netflix, Prime etc. Or if you prefer, stream your favorites.  

​But hey... we think you'll be spending more time on the terrace watching boats go by or enjoying the sea birds flying so close you can almost touch them. There is a wonderful beach steps from the condo perfect for swimming, paddle board and snorkeling.

The Space

The Orchid has the longest Infinity Pool in Puerto Vallarta.  In fact, we have two infinity pools.  We have a restaurant, bar, gym and huge lounging areas available as out guests.  This is an owner building, no time-share or "resort feel".  Pride of ownership is evident.  

Casa Pina has the most wonderful views of Puerto Vallarta, especially at night!  The main living space opens full on to the Bay of Banderas.  Watch whales breaching and sea birds only yards from the glass balcony.  Each bedroom and living area has AC.

Guest Access

There are 8 floors and we are on floor 6.   The elevator stops directly at your condo.  You are given a digital code unique to you upon check in.

Notes

The building is privately owned.  This is not a time-share, or hotel.  Only owners live here.  We have a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, washer and dryer and free Wi-Fi.  Pride of ownership is evident everywhere.

Neighbourhood

Conchas Chinas neighborhood of Puerto Vallarta (PV) is often referred as the "Hollywood Hills of PV.  It is quiet and secure.  It's only a beautiful 10-15 minute stroll along the beach to town.  PV is often referred to as a "foodie town" with over 950 great places to dine.  Several have won international awards.  Ever had a fresh Red Snapper prepared on the beach wrapped in banana leaves over coal? You will here!

Getting to my home

Upon confirmation of your stay, we'll put you in touch with our property manager.  She will arrange for your transportation from the airport.  She will check you in with security and show you the layout of the condos and building.  When flying into Puerto Vallarta, it's a short 12 minute ride to the Marina area, 10 to 15 minutes to places in the Hotel Zone and about 7 minutes to the Malecón and Romantic Zone.

When flying into Puerto Vallarta, you only have one main commercial airport: Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport, or PVR.

Getting Around

Most of our guests use Uber or Taxis to get around.  We are only a easy 10-15 minute walk along the beach to restaurants, night life and entertainment in town.

WOW. What a beautiful condo. Dave and Robin's place is an absolute must stay. The ocean view from the balcony is breathtaking. The sound of the waves crashing on the shore below is the ultimate white noise for taking long naps on the couch. The condo is equipped with everything you would need. The staff at the Orchid Condominiums are warm and helpful. If the ocean is not your thing then you have a choice of two infinity pools. We enjoyed using the fully equipped gym. One afternoon we took the two person canoe out which was a blast. The weather was not great during our stay, lots of clouds and rain, but the ocean water was warm, the restaurants in Puerto Vallarta amazing, and the condo fabulous, so we had a wonderful time. Fabi the property manager is terrific, she was always available to help with any of our requests. If you are headed to this part of Mexico look know further, this condo is absolute must stay.

What a fabulous time we all had!!! All of the staff at the Orchid were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make sure all was perfect! The views are beyond beautiful. Each time we walked through the door it took our breath away. From the cool breezes in the open air living spaces to the sounds of the waves. It was truly mesmerizing day and night. Pictures can’t convey all the beauty this condo offers. We spent WAY TOO much time in the rooftop pool 🍷 Drinks, food and service were 10* The shrimp cocktail and mojitos were a fav among our group. I can’t thank you enough for making this such an easy peasy vacation. Communication was detailed and easy. Home Exchange has provided us the best traveling experiences and 6A is by far at the top of the list. I’ll be saving my globes for a repeat trip!!

Let's chat!  We love talking about travel. Better yet... we love traveling!

We are Dave and Robin, a sixty-something couple trying to retire. We so enjoy our work and are finding it difficult to fully retire is so we can travel more. 

We usually travel as a couple but on occasion, and only with prior permission, we will travel with another couple.  Dave is a real estate broker and investor; Robin is a property investor and assists in Dave’s office.  We enjoy travel most anywhere and lean towards, Europe, Mexico, and the Nordic countries. 

We love nature, photography, history, movies, hiking, the outdoors, wine, fine dining, and new experiences. We are open to exploring destinations not listed and off the beaten path. 

We love meeting other PLU members and the experiences that this community provides.
