Randers offers a number of interesting and fun attractions. Visit the tropical animals in Randers Regnskov tropical zoo or knock on the door to Elvis' house - a tribute to his house Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee - and a lovely american diner.
Randers Regnskov (Rainforest) - https://www.regnskoven.dk/en/ - is located in the centre of Randers, between Randers City and the river Gudenåen. It is one of Denmark's biggest tourist attractions, featuring three different rain forest continents under separate domes: South America, Asia and Africa.
In the domes, you will find a fantastic environment in which you can wander around in a tropical climate between giant liana vines, buttress trees, a roaring waterfall and over 250 animal species.
Stand face-to-face with free-roaming monkeys, birds and bats. Meet roaring jaguars, sloths, crocodiles and friendly manatees. In Randers Regnskov the animals are on their own turf – and you get to be extremely close! Randers Regnskov is a true nature and animal sensation.

In the South American rain forest there lives a large cat. In Randers Regnskov you can be close to these beautiful jaguars in their new jaguar gardens. The jaguars also have their own pool - come and experience the jaguars gambol in the water.

In northern Randers is the new residential area Vikingedalen, which is part of the attractive area Helsted. Helsted is characterized by its peaceful surroundings near nature and city.
50 metres from our house you will find af new and wonderful playground.
Within a short walk or bike ride you will find everything from shopping, sports facilities and bakery.
Vikingedalen is located just 4 kilometers from the center of Randers and you can easily get on the highway and by public transport towards the city center. By car there is only half an hour to Aarhus, the second biggest town in Denmark

Susanne and her family were excellent guests in our secondary home on a non-reciprocal exchange in July 2022. They took great care of our house and flowers, cleaning afterwards was spotless and communication was friendly and open all the way. We are very thankful that they let us fix the terrace door, while they were staying in the house (it was a bit broken before they arrived) and we would welcome them again anytime.
