The nearest airport is General Francisco Javier Mina-Tampico (TAM) 16.5 KM away, is a small international airport and is max 25 minutes by car from Velamar.
Getting Around
Yes, you need to move around but we have taxis and uber, Didi, etc. the price for a ride from the airport to the flat is around 10 usd one way in a sedan (up to 4 people) and this is about what you need to pay when you visit places around each time.
You can also rent a car at the airport and move with google maps, we have a reserved parking spot at Velamar and most of the places to visit have free parking spaces, when paid it will be less than 4 usd for 8 hours.
