General Overview
Our home is based in Tempe, the inner west of Sydney, which is just the next suburb away from Marrickville, Enmore and Newtown. Tempe has an amazing family community and very safe neighbourhood.
We are also close to the airport, a short drive from the amazing beaches in the Eastern Suburbs and less than 10km away from the Sydney CBD (just 3 train stations away from Central Station).
Plenty of supermarkets and shopping centres are close by.
Our home is a renovated 4 bedroom home (although we use one bedroom for storage if it's not required). We have 2 bathrooms, parking and a beautiful plunge pool to keep you cool in the warmer months.
The Space
The back bedroom has a king-sized bed and the other two available bedrooms have double beds. We also have a 4th bedroom which has a double bed but normally use this room for storage when we have guests staying.
There is an open plan kitchen and dining space right next to the living room.
There are two bathrooms, one with a large bathtub.
Guest Access
This is a single storey home - not really wheelchair friendly as there are a couple of small steps to navigate.
Notes
Spare key to access entry will be located in a lockbox with an extra key left on the kitchen bench.

Neighbourhood
Our home is located in a quiet street, just a short walk from the train station. We are close enough to make a quick dash to the station but far enough away not to hear any train noises.
We are just a short walk away from Wolli Creek where you can find Woolworths, Aldi, a huge Asian supermarket and the small village of Wolli Creek where you have plenty of options for dining out.
In the other direction, there is Marrickville which has even more options to choose from if you were after somewhere to dine out or grab some take-away. There are so many breweries and pubs in the local area and Marrickville is really blossoming into a LIVE music hub.
Ikea and Decathlon are also just up the road.
The Tempe Hotel is a nice pub which has recently reopened after undergoing some renovations. Lots of popular breweries in nearby Marrickville too.
We have really great neighbours with many young families and you will be guaranteed to be greeted with a smile.
Getting to my home
Our home is only a few minutes walk away from Tempe Train Station which can take you into the city in 10 minutes. There also is also easy access to buses.
Nearest airport
Sydney International Airport is only a short 10 min drive away with the Domestic Airport just a little further away (around 15 mins drive).
Getting Around
We are within close to walking distance to many supermarkets and public transport stops.

We had a lovely 10 day stay in Sydney over Christmas when we had time to explore Sydney‘s beaches, city center and everything in between. Vinnie’s house is conveniently located very close to the train station from where you easily travel into central Sydney and elsewhere. Even though we had a car, we used the train whenever going into the city as it was so handy. Great backyard with pool where to relax after a busy day exploring. Communication with Vinnie was excellent from the very beginning all way throughout our stay. Thank you so much! -

A Wonderful Stay in Sydney's Inner West We had the pleasure of exchanging homes with Vinnie and his family for a long weekend, and it was truly a delightful experience. Their home was amazing, offering a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived and the kids loved the pool. The location in Sydney's Inner West was ideal for exploring the city's vibrant culture. We enjoyed leisurely walks through the neighborhood, discovering local cafes, shops, and parks. The proximity to public transport made it easy to venture into the city center and beyond. Communication with Vinnie was seamless throughout the entire process. From the initial planning stages to our departure, he was responsive, accommodating, and thoughtful, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
