General overview

Peaceful mountain view home in golf club community (The Rock at Jocassee) close to Greenville, SC, Table Rock Mountain, Asheville, and many lakes. The golf course and club house are open to the public. On the weekends there is live music at the clubhouse.

The space

2 master suites on different levels (1 has a king bed and one has a queen bed). We are in the golf club community of The Rock at Jocassee (https://therockgolfclub.com/) and very close to Table Rock State Park (https://southcarolinaparks.com/table-rock?gclid=CjwKCAjw0N6hBhAUEiwAXab-TT3848EtNkAfwHzvy9VowB7ho0GKXeXskQo1lfY4Jgvh-QnTULiJgRoCGHIQAvD_BwE). Asheville and Greenville are about an hour away. Lake Keowee and Lake Jocassee are a half hour away, as is Traveler’s Rest. The Doodle trail (https://www.cityofpickens.com/doodle ) is a paved walking/bike trail between Pickens and Easley, and the Swamp Rabbit Trail begins in Traveler’s Rest and runs into Greenville (https://www.greenvillesc.gov/316/Swamp-Rabbit-Trail)

Guest access

The main level (accessible with a couple of porch stairs) is the primary living level with kitchen, porch, powder room, and master suite (queen bed). There is an upper level that has an additional master suite (king bed) and a lower lever where our laundry machines are.

Notes

We have 2 indoor only cats that would need care (Matilda and Winona). This would require feeding twice daily and cleaning of 2 litter boxes once daily.

Deb

Lou and I are in our mid-late 50’s. I (Deb) am retired and Lou works remotely. We have 2 cats, and would love to find an exchange with cat lovers who would be willing to take care of them while we are gone (litter boxes and meals 2x per day). We would love a beach exchange fairly locally. Our kids are in Denver and Los Angeles, so those two locations are always a draw, but we are open to anything!
