General Overview

We have lived in our home for 25 years. It is more than 100 years old, and even though it has a few quirks we'd always prefer that to something brand new. We enjoy the tall trees outside our window. Our street ends at the beautiful Grand River, about half a kilometre away, with a lovely lookout point and a linear trail that many people enjoy. We know our neighbours, and we love that the area is walkable - the local pub, hardware store, banks and the old town parkette are nearby. We are about an hour west of Toronto, within five minutes of Highway 401 which is the direct link there. Niagara Falls is about 90 minutes away.

The Space

The house is about 1400 ft sq across two floors, with a finished basement that includes laundry. The front room is three-season. We enjoy the deck, looking out onto our fairly compact back yard.

Sara

Our family loves to travel! We are Canadians Pete and Sara, a brewer/trombone player and a conservation manager, in our mid-50s and keen to see what's out there. We have two grown daughters in their 20s who may travel with us from time to time. We are quite easygoing, love experiencing new spaces and cultures and are always willing to give a new language a go! Please note that although we have marked a number of spots our calendar as available, we have a fair bit of flexibility. If you have particular dates of travel, we can try to make it work.
