Neighbourhood
The neighborhood is very family friendly with several nice playgrounds. In the neighborhood centre we have a children's book store, toy store and children's clothing store - all worth a visit. In the same street as our home we have a lovely bakery/coffee house.
We will of course give you a list of all our favourite places :)
Nearest airport
Arlanda Airport or Skavsta Airport are the two closest ones. From Arlanda you can take the Arlanda Express which is a train that only takes 20 minutes to Stockholm central station. There are fly buses going from both Arlanda and Skavsta.
Getting Around
There are shops and grocery stores within walking distance and it is easy to travel within the city by underground or bus.
You can walk from our home to the nearest underground railway (tunnelbana) and it is a really nice and calm walking path that takes 10-15 minutes. The train takes 20 minutes to Stockholm central station or 15 minutes to Södermalm which is a neighbourhood famous for its many cafes, restaurants and small shops.
We also have bikes that you are welcome to borrow. We have bike seats for younger children on them.
