General overview

Two bedrooms, 5 beds. 2 floors. Very toddler (that can climb stairs) and dog friendly. Washing machine and tumble dryer.

The space

We live in a wonderful family friendly area. We have a small garden with garden furniture. I would describe our home at good old danish word “hyggelig”. A lot of second hand furniture and Greenandic art.

Guest access

We have two floors. Living room, kitchen, bathroom and a kid’s room on first level and 3 rooms + toilet upstairs.

Notes

We live in one of Denmark’s oldest cities, which means there’s a lot of history near by. If history is not your thing, there’s lots of lakes and hills close by to.

Neighbourhood

Very family friendly area. People are either retired, has teenage kids or younger kids. There’s a small playground 2 min walking from the apartment. (Doesn’t have much, but enough to entertain smaller kids).

Getting to my home

We live 15 min walking from the bus/train station. But renting a car is also a good idea, so it’s easy to get around to the amazing danish nature.

Nearest airport

Aarhus airport - but it’s super expensive. So Billund or Aalborg is also possible. But Copenhagen might be the cheapest and then drive with car/public transport here.

Getting around

We live 20 min walking distance (or 7 min on bike) from downtown area. Most times I bike, but it’s also possible to take the bus (5min walking to the nearest busstop). I always use google maps to get the time table and they are correct.

When I have time I would love to meet up for coffee or invite you home. (P.s I’m still new in this town, so won’t be the best guide. But I know a good cafe or two)

Josepha

It’s me, my husband and our daughter (2 in June) Sialuk. Sialuk means rain in Greenlandic. I used to be a frequent user of Couchsurfing in my younger days. Now it isn't as easy to sleep on couches, when you have a husband and a daughter. We don't get to travel as much as we would love to (cough flights are a bit expensive) but when we finally do, we like to feel at home.
