General overview
What we particularly like about our home is that we are so close to the water and have a great view from the balcony. We are also very well connected thanks to our immediate proximity to the subway, but we also have great corners to explore in the district. The cool playgrounds are particularly popular here.
The space
When you enter our apartment you first come into a large hallway from which all the rooms lead off. On the left side there is a small office (which is not accessible to guests), a bedroom with a king-size bed and storage space for clothes, a small storage room with a microwave and washing machine and the children's room with two bunk beds (90x200 and 90x160), one Wall bars, games, Lego and books. On the right side of the hallway is the full bathroom with a bathtub (with shower option), sink, toilet and a fold-out changing table. At the end of the hallway there is a guest toilet. To the right of the end of the hallway is the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is quite small, but offers enough storage space and space for cooking and baking. There is also a large refrigerator and a freezer compartment here. Our living room is the most spacious place in our apartment. There is a fold-out sofa and a dining table that can accommodate up to six people. There is also a cupboard with many board games, a record player, a Bluetooth box and a projector (with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube). From the living room you can also access the balcony, which impresses with its width and direct view of the Elbe. We also plant fruits and vegetables here every year, which we can look forward to in the summer.
You don't see much of the neighborhood here and you also have privacy on the balcony, as the neighboring balcony is separated by a frosted glass pane.
There is also underfloor heating throughout the apartment, which can be manually adjusted for each room.
