Delphine and Lucien's house is a dream come true: an old house tastefully and lovingly renovated, with wood as the main feature. You could spend hours on their terrace, surrounded by greenery and flowers, watched over by the bell tower that chimes the hours and occasionally rings a carillon. Taking care of Gribouille has been a pleasure: he always came to greet us every day when we returned and every morning when we woke up. And what can we say about the chickens and their delicious eggs—a new experience for us, along with the incredible garden. Delphine and Lucien have been absolutely helpful and provided us with valuable advice and practical information to make the most of our stay. Salvan is a charming village, located in a privileged spot, surrounded by mountains and nature. The region, in general, has so much to offer: we visited a chocolate factory and a cheese factory, explored underground caves, visited numerous lakes (and even swam in some of them!), several bike parks and pump tracks, river gorges, a glacier, thermal baths, cities with castles... we even ventured as far as Milan! These 15 days have been filled with endless discoveries. Thank you so much for hosting us; it has been an unforgettable vacation. <3
