Neighbourhood
Anything and everything! See Google maps for all the little details. Walking distance to the best of downtown - Lower East Side, Chinatown, Little Italy, Lower Manhattan. A few blocks west you find Washington Square and Greenwich Village. 15 minutes northwest of us is Union Square. An energetic walker can even walk to the High Line on the west side or to Midtown sights such as Times Square in under an hour.
Rent a Citibike at the bike share station on the corner of 4th St and 2nd Ave. We have helmets you can borrow.
The closest and best large grocery store is the Whole Foods on Houston just 4 blocks south. Trader Joe's is always fun to visit for those who don't have TJs at home, but it's not super close (14th St between 3rd and 4th Ave, 15 min walk).
