Neighbourhood
Our cabin is located in a peaceful and scenic neighborhood that offers the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, the home sits alongside a protected nature preserve and seasonal pond, providing a sense of privacy and serenity surrounded by natural beauty.
Despite the peaceful setting, the cabin is just minutes from Big Bear Lake, with easy access to hiking and biking trails, and a short drive to the village center, where you'll find shops, restaurants, and local attractions.
In the winter months, the property is also conveniently located near Snow Summit and Bear Mountain ski resorts, making it a great year-round destination for both relaxation and adventure.
Nearest airport
The closest major airport is Ontario International Airport (ONT), located approximately 58 miles away. This airport offers a convenient and direct route to Big Bear, with a typical drive time of about 1.5 hours depending on traffic.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is approximately 113 to 115 miles from Big Bear, with a drive time of just over two hours in normal traffic. While it is farther than Ontario, it is a common arrival point for those flying in from out of state or internationally.
Other airport options include Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), about 85 miles away, and John Wayne Airport in Orange County (SNA), about 92 miles away. Both offer domestic flight options and are within a reasonable driving distance.
For travelers arriving by private or chartered flight, the Big Bear City Airport (RBF) is only about 4 miles from the cabin. This is a small airport with no commercial service, but it is convenient for private aviation.
Getting Around
