General Overview

Saint louis Retreat house A haven of peace located on the shores of Lake Saint Louis, 45 minutes driving from downtown Montreal. Breathtaking landscape. It is our rental unit inside the building with separated entrance Including: - 1 nice size studio with water view :kitchenette, full bathroom and queen size bed. - suite with 01 king bed, 01 sofa queen bed and 1 day bed can be pulled out to be a king size bed The suite is in different level with the studio. Both of them have private access from the street. laundry shares with the principal house Nature- and outdoors will be delighted. Host comfortably up to 06 persons.

The Space

Please kindly noted that garden area is steep (with a lot of stair steps) so if you go with kids, need to supervise them well. Our house is surrounded by water, it can be dangerous with small kids. Our house has 03 floors. This guest suite occupied 1 floor with a private entrance and a private deck on water view It is not in a remote area. It is 45 minutes driving to downtown of Montreal, 25 minutes from Airport YUL. You have groceries store in 5-10 minutes driving from the place. you also have ski stations within 45-1.30h drive from the place. If you like fishing, it is one of the best area in Montreal (lake saint louis) for bass, walleye and sturgeon. We have 02 kayaks for guest's use. You can rent a small boat in a marina near there to go outshore fishing. Guest have access to the whole first and second floor with private bathrooms. Share laundry area with us. all equipments for water play when they are used need to be inspected and supervised for kid's use. Please make sure that there is at least 1 adult going out with kid

Here is my suggestion for the visiting points when you are here during winter: On our island: 1. Visit Parc Historique de la Pointe-du-Moulin for scenic winter views. Marché de Noël (Christmas Market) in nearby Vaudreuil-Dorion for local crafts. 2. snowshoeing or skiing at Mont Rigaud (20 mins away). Road Trip to Ottawa (2-hour drive) 1. ByWard Market’s Christmas Village and enjoy festive treats. 2. Walk around Parliament Hill to see the Christmas Lights Across Canada display 3. Ice skate on the Rideau Canal (if frozen). 4. Canadian Museum of History or explore Gatineau Park for snowshoeing. 5. Dine at Fairmont Château Laurier for a magical holiday experience. Road Trip to Montebello (1 hour in the middle of Ottawa and Montreal) 1. visit Omega Park to see Canadian wildlife. 2. Lunch at Château Montebello Day Trip to Montreal (45 min drive) 1. Visit Notre-Dame Basilica and see its Christmas light show. 2. Explore Old Montreal’s Christmas Market, then ice skate at Atrium Le 1000. 3. Dinner in Le Plateau Quartier and try POUTINE 4. we are a couple with 02 teens (12 & 15 yo). Sometimes my parents or my cousins or friends coming with us on a trip. We are both professional and work in Bank here. We are host on Airbnb for a long time but it is our new experience to open the door to our home exchange. Origin From Viet Nam, university trained in France and now living in Canada for several years made us a travel lovers in blood. :) We love water so if you have anything near it, especially sea water, we will try to bring us there!
