General Overview

The home feels private with a hedge and old growth trees around. There is a front yard with a gas fireplace and chairs to enjoy the evening summer shade. As you come in the front doors of the home, there is a staircase leading up to four bedrooms upstairs, one of which is turned into an office. There are two bathrooms upstairs, one with a Jacuzzi tub, and two showers. The downstairs living room/dining room is an open room with many windows that let in ample daylight. The kitchen and breakfast nook lead out to a back patio with a barbecue, some seating and another gas fireplace. My husband has set up a gym in the garage that is well equipped. Please ask if you would like to use that during your stay and we can arrange. Along side of the kitchen is another living room with a bar area as well as an extra bedroom and bathroom.

Neighbourhood

This home is in a perfect location right next to Trafalgar Park, wonderful playground and play structure for the kids within walking distance, about 100 yards away. The home itself is in a quiet neighbourhood off of main throughways, but also close enough that you can grab a bus to pretty much anywhere in the city within a half a block. An Uber ride to downtown would be about $15 each way depending on the demand at the time. There are many hospitals close by if you are visiting to attend one of the hospitals, we are close to BC Children’s Hospital, BC women’s Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital. Arbutus Ridge is a beautiful area with lots of trees that come alive in the spring with cherry blossoms and the rest of the time have a beautiful green foliage. We usually don’t get that much snow here being close to the ocean and have a pretty great summer too! We do enjoy the one or two weeks of snow we have as the rest of the year our grass is green.
