The home feels private with a hedge and old growth trees around. There is a front yard with a chairs to enjoy the evening summer shade. As you come in the front doors of the home, there is a staircase leading up to 3 bedrooms upstairs.  There are two bathrooms upstairs, one with a Jacuzzi tub, and one with bath/shower. The downstairs living room/dining room is an open room with many windows that let in ample daylight.   The kitchen and breakfast nook lead out to a back patio with a barbecue, some seating and gas fireplace. 
Along side of the kitchen is another living room with a bar area as well as an extra bedroom and bathroom. We let this out separately through HE and privately so please inquire if this is wanted also.

The Space

We are on a bike path straight to the ocean down Trafalgar street.

Guest Access

Something to note is the bathrooms are upstairs for anyone with mobility issues as well as the bedrooms. If you’re occupying the whole house which includes the one bedroom side suite then there is a bathroom downstairs as well.

Neighbourhood

This home is in a perfect location right next to Trafalgar Park, wonderful playground and play structure for the kids within walking distance, about 100 yards away.  The home itself is in a quiet neighbourhood off of main throughways, but also close enough that you can grab a bus to pretty much anywhere in the city within a half a block.  An Uber ride to downtown would be about $15 each way depending on the demand at the time.  There are many hospitals close by if you are visiting to attend one of the hospitals, we are close to BC Children’s Hospital, BC women’s Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital.  Arbutus Ridge is a beautiful area with lots of trees that come alive in the spring with cherry blossoms and the rest of the time have a beautiful green foliage. We usually don’t get that much snow here being close to the ocean and have a pretty great summer too!  We do enjoy the one or two weeks of snow we have as the rest of the year our grass is green.

Nearest airport

Airport can be accessed by transit taking a bus to the Canada line is easy, which takes you straight into the airport terminal.

Getting Around

Half a block away, we have a Jamaican patty shop that has been around for years, sushi, pizza, French bakery and Chinese food restaurants.
