Getting around
From the village train station you can get to London Liverpool Street (1 hour) & Stratford in East London (50 mins) home of the London 2012 Olympic Park and huge Westfield shopping complex. Both stations are major interchanges for all London has to offer e.g. sightseeing & shopping, the history & culture. From Liverpool Street station you can easily walk to Shoreditch, Spitalfields, Brick Lane, and a bit further to Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Sky Garden, The River Thames and Borough Market.
The single track railway line runs along the bottom of our large garden where trains pass into / out of the station just a few minutes walk away. Consequently this makes the use of public transport by train very convenient.
