General overview
The apartment is a small penthouse flat of 38,48 sq. metres useful area, the end apartment in a row of three, with a neighbouring apartment on one side only.
You have easy access to shops etc, while what I think of as the Mijas Beverly Hills, good for walks, lies just behind our little neighbourhood.
The space
The bedroom has a double bed and is under a mansard roof. The kitchen and dining area and sofa, with bookshelves is open plan.
There is an 8 sq metre balcony with good views.
I have an Ikea all-electric kitchen that is very practical and includes reverse osmosis water filtration.
Guest access
I live on the third floor of a 3-storey building, and there is a lift.
Notes
The building is quiet and very little, apart from the traffic in the street below, can be heard outside the apartment.

Neighbourhood
If you are musical and play tennis, you will like my little apartment, just a few minutes by car from Lew Hoad tennis club, probably the best tennis club for the ordinary player in the South of Spain, and it is 20 minutes walk from the Danish Church, where the Collegium Musicum Costa del Sol with its orchestra holds rehearsals.
Some 7 supermarkets are within 10 minutes' walking distance. The beach is about a 25 minutes' walk. Lew Hoad is also reachable by bus. The principal shopping areas of Fuengirola are within walking distance and Mijas Pueblo, a tourist attraction and centre of entertainment during the summer, is about 15 minutes by car.
There are two large, free car parks, just a few minutes away on foot.
Getting to my home
From Málaga airport it is a 35-minute train ride; it takes about 20 minutes to walk to my apartment from Fuengirola train station.

Getting around
There is a large selection of supermarkets only a few minutes' walk away, including 2 Mercadonas, a Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, Hipercor, and a little further away, (20 minutes) Carrefour.
Central Fuengirola shopping is about 20 minutes' walk away.
