We stayed 8 days on a simultaneous swap with this hospitable couple. The apartment was prepared well and was super clean. We received a welcoming basket with some food and goodies, which was overwhelming. The apartment is full of modern art. It has great window panes everywhere; I’d say that’s the highlight of it as it offers a magnificent view on the marina and the architecture in the vicinity. Communication was great before during and after our stay and we shared the best places and experiences with each other. We stayed very local and did a lot of walks and visited smaller places in southern Jutland from their place. Back in Utrecht, our place was left clean and ready for our next guests and that was great! Thanks for a great stay to Dorte and Peter!

We swapped our apartment in Vechelde for Dorte and Peter’s modern apartment and couldn’t be happier! The apartment is beautiful, modern, and artistic, and we had everything we needed. We especially loved the location—we could have spent hours just enjoying the view of the fjord. Close to nature yet just a short walk to the city center. Vejle is a lively city, and we immediately felt at home there. We learned a lot about the Vikings and highly recommend the museum in Jelling. Our own home in Vechelde was treated with great care, and we found everything in excellent condition. All in all, a perfect home exchange—we wouldn’t hesitate to swap with Dorte and Peter again and can absolutely recommend them as exchange partners! Thank you for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay in Dorte and Peter´s apartement overlooking the harbour. For the placement you could not be in a better spot in vejle. Great views and easy to walk to the city centre or the green surroundings. The appartement is big, bright and with a very personal design. Very inspiring. The kitchen has all the equipment you´ll need, including the luxery ones such as a Quooker and a build in espresso machine. Dorte and Peter left us a welcome treat and lots of tips and ideas about what to see and do. It was great to explore a city in our own country that we didn´t really know. And as a bonus all the museums in Vejle have free entrance. We had an easy and friendly communication with Dorte and Peter before and during our stay. Thank you for really nice swap!

We had a wonderful hospitality stay for three days with Dorte and Peter in their beautiful home. Dorte kindly collected us from the train station when we arrived in Vejle and they very quickly made us feel at home. Their home overlooks the marina and the Vejle Fjord - very picturesque. Vejle is a great place to explore lots of history and the museums are wonderful. Dorte took us to Jelling and Aarhus to Viking museums on the Friday. We shared meals together and swapped travel stories. So pleased we had the chance to get to know Dorte and Peter they are warm and friendly couple - hope we see them in NZ!

This was our first home exchange with PLU and it could not be any better! We were truly lucky to exchange homes with Dorte and Peter who are very experienced home exchangers and gave us lots of uself tips on how things work. Their apartment is absolutely amazing and we felt like in a gallery seeing all the paintings hanging on the walls. Spending a week at their place with a beautiful view over the harbour and Fjordhouse was a gorgeous experience. We enjoyed sitting at the balcony enjoying our mornings or evenings. The apartment is very cosy and has all for a comfortable stay. Dorte and Peter are very organized and it can be felt from how they prepared their apartment with all the instructions and tips what to do in Vejle as well as in the surroundings. They left a lego gift for each of our children what made them very happy. We appreciate also a welcoming food after a long traveling time and some Danish specialities. We enjoyed our time with kids on the several playgrounds that are in the surroundings. There is also a football pitch to play games what our kids appreciated. The surroundings around the playground is very green and it feels so relaxing. Vejle is a great location to visit Legoland and Legohouse as it is not more than 30 minutes driving by car. We also had a chance to visit some nice beaches closeby and enjoyed a summer swimming and beach time. We really recommend an exchange with Dorte and Peter, their place is amazing and they are great and very nice people. The communication with them was always smooth and clear. Thank you very much for the chance to exchange with you. We feel blessed by such experience.

We were fortunate to stay with Dorte and Peter over a weekend in their beautiful home. Communication with them was so easy and organized from the beginning. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with warmth and generosity. They made delicious meals for us, and getting to know them and learning about life in Denmark was such a joy. Their home is absolutely gorgeous, with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer panoramic views of the harbor and the most incredible, cool art. We felt their home was a true reflection of their style and spirit. I don't even know where to begin – it was such a wonderful exchange! We had the pleasure of spending a week in Vejle. Dorte and Peter are incredibly warm and friendly people. They greeted us personally and gave us a tour of their beautiful apartment. Dorte had also prepared a delicious meal for us and thoughtfully put together a basket filled with tasty Danish treats. Each of our children was welcomed with a small gift, which made them incredibly happy! The apartment is very modern, well-equipped, spotlessly clean, and stylishly decorated with modern art. We were particularly impressed by the faucet that delivers sparkling or boiling water at the touch of a button, as well as the high-quality coffee machine. We truly enjoyed sipping a creamy latte while taking in the spectacular view of Vejle's harbor. The surroundings of the building are also fantastic – with several playgrounds and even a great fitness area just around the corner. Grocery stores and Vejle's charming town center are all within easy walking distance. The harbor and the surrounding area also invite you to take relaxing strolls. We went on many wonderful excursions and exploration trips in and around Vejle, and still had so many more ideas for things we'd love to do! We wholeheartedly recommend an exchange with Dorte and Peter in Vejle. It's a place to feel at home, unwind, and an ideal base for numerous amazing experiences!

My daughter and I spent a weekend at Dorte and Peter's wonderful apartment in Vejle. The location is stunning and the apartment is decorated with a very good taste. From every room there is a view to the fjord and the hilly landscape. The couple's exquisite taste in art was obvious and we enjoyed dwelling into their beautiful paintings and art pieces. Absolutely wonderful. Everything was nice and clean and a basket with chocolate and chips were left for us along with a nice bottle of wine. There were loads of information about Vejle and surroundings that we could dive into. As Dorte was in Copenhagen with work the week before our swap, we had a chance to say hi and exchange keys. She is a lovely person, warm and sweet and we were completely on the same page with regards to the exchange terms. We agreed that we both loved being in each others' homes, so I'm pretty sure we will repeat the success in the future and do another exchange. PLU opens your eyes to the world, but sometimes it's enough to look around the corner in your own country. Thank you so much to Dorte and Peter.

We had such a lovely week at Dorte and Peters beautiful home in Denmark, we were thrilled with the experience of exchanging with them. They were so kind to invite us for dinner to get to know each other the night before they left for ours. Their apartment is modern and stylish with lots of interesting art pieces. It was so cosy and warm, we hardly wanted to go out. But the sun was shining for us so out we went to visit Vejle in all its glory - the sea, forest walks, museums and galleries, glorious seafood and friendly people. And the best pastries ever tasted! Dorte's home was amazing. The location was exactly as described, which was perfect for us. Views from her home of the Fjordhouse and the Wave building were the nicest backdrop for morning coffee and dinners on the deck. Inside, her home had all the things needed to be comfortable and high end items like in-wall coffee maker and knives. She made her home extra welcoming for our young kids, and her she provided all the communication needed for an excellent visit. We would visit again.

What a wunderfull stay we have had in the Vejle appartment of Dorte en Peter! We had a videocall some weeks before the exchange and Dorte send us more than plenty information about what to visit, where to eat and relax. Very helpfull. On are arival they waited for us with some nice food and all kind of goodies from Denmark, how nice. We stayed a week in Vejle and visited Vejle (and museum)Århus, Summerland, Jelling, did a tour round the fjord, hiked, shopped and relaxed. The appartment was spacious, light, luxurious..everything was available and the views stunning. Our kids were thrilled over Disneyplus, so on a rainy day, they binged watched (as did we on HBO and Netflix :)). You can walk to the (grocerie)shops, have a one star diner across or a good pizza in the nearbyhotel ;). We strongly recomend this appartment and their hosts: friendly, kind and communicative. Even the aftersales is great: we forgot a libary book and Dorte will send it to us, so nice! So thanks so much again Dorte and Peter, we really enjoyed our stay. Hope to welcome you back someday.

Dorte and Peter are such welcoming, lovely people and their place is the coolest. We were so lucky to stay 3 nights with them! They have beautiful views overlooking the harbor and amazing artwork in every room -- everything was super clean and they even have a manual so guests can find things in their kitchen, etc. I had never heard of Vejle before this trip, but it is a really fun city with a lot more going on than I expected. Dorte and Peter cooked dinner for us, shared some delicious Danish treats with us, and even got out big bins of Duplo for our son to play with. He was THRILLED. We spent several evenings chatting with them and playing a board game -- they are very interesting people and experienced home exchangers. I would highly recommend their place to anyone interested in visiting Denmark. What an amazing introduction to PLU we had!

We truly enjoyed our stay (Globe exchange) at Dorte and Peters beautiful apartment: breathtaking views, ideally located in the charming and vibrant town of Vejle, light, modern and spacious. The apartment was spotless clean upon arrival and we were welcomed by friendly notes, very thoughtful and generous welcome gifts and lots of information about the apartment, Vejle and surroundings. We spent a few days at Legoland with our daughter and enjoyed some sightseeing of Vejle during the rest of our stay. The town is very charming and offers amazing shopping opportunities, a variety of museums (free entrance!) and lots of cozy coffee places and restaurants. Communication was excellent both before and during our stay and we also had the pleasure to meet Dorte and Peter in person and enjoyed a lovely evening together. Dorte and Peter are outstanding and experienced PLU-hosts, we highly recommend exchanging with this family! We had a beautiful stay at Dorte and Peter’s beautiful home which had amazing views out over the water and modern architecture. The house was extremely clean and clear and well organised and modern with maps to the kitchen equipment and utility cupboard. We walked into town and to the nearby beautiful deer forest and little beaches. The beds were so comfy and we slept very well in the quiet surrounds. Their instructions were so detailed and helpfully organised and they left us very lovely food and unexpected Easter gifts which the children loved. They had also brought up three containers of Lego which was very thoughtful

We stayed in Dorte and Peter's apartment for 12 days. It was a delightful experience. Their modern luxury apartment is not only comfortable, beautiful and interesting, it is also perfectly situated by a lovely harbor with a wonderful view, and is also convenient as a base for day trips around Jutland, Funen, and Germany. Vejle is a nice town and a new favorite for us now. The beautiful city center is within walking distance and offers both interesting shops as well as good restaurants. Dorte and Peter are experienced swappers and I learned a lot from swapping with them. Dorte is very thoughtful and left us a nice present and excellent wine, food and snacks upon our arrival. Communication before, during and after our stay was both friendly and informative. They are relaxed and easy going and are equally wonderful hosts and guests. I highly recommend them and their home for a swap.

Dorte and Peter's home was fantastic, and super comfortable for our needs. We had a terrific time there. Their flat is in a newly developed area of the city by Vejle Harbour, in a modern building opposite the majestic Fjordenhus. The views and natural light are just superb and felt incredibly luxurious, and even though the weather was a bit chilly, I managed to use their lovely balcony terrace a couple of times and soak in the views. You can feel a lot of love and care has been put into decorating with so much taste. We loved the superb art collection and felt incredibly lucky to be their guests. We are dearly missing their coffee machine and the sparkling water on tap! Location is great, just at the mouth of Vejle Fiord. We enjoyed lovely walks and runs in the vicinity, there are great paths and even a deer park nearby. There is a lovely playground in the neighbourhood our boys enjoyed pretty much every day, and you can walk to the city center, where there are a good array of shops, restaurants and museums (Okolariet was a big hit!) The house has a very convenient underground parking space and we found the location perfect to visit Legoland and Lego House in Billund or do day trips to Fredericia or Aarhus. All in all we had a fantastic family time exploring Jutland and made lifelong memories Inside the house, everything felt new and super modern. Dorte and Peter left us a really kind note and some very thoughtful welcome gifts that we really enjoyed. They also left us some nice Danish breads and food to taste which was greatly appreciated as we had a late flight. They even went through the trouble of getting out huge lego boxes for our boys to enjoy, which they happily used. Their house guide was really clear, and they also left us some very good personalised recommendations of things to do and see with two young boys. This made things very easy for us. We enjoyed exchanging messages with Dorte and Peter during our exchange and it was really nice to share tips and update each other. We felt very lucky of swapping our homes with Dorte and Peter and would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone wishing to visit Jutland.

We had the pleasure of exchanging with Dorte for one week and loved every minute of it. Dorte's and Peter's appartment is a magnificient place to stay. In fact we did not mind staying in. Excellent views in every direction from the fifth floor looking over a harbour. This gave us a feeling of freedom. The neigbourhood is intriging, very modern architecture combined with water. You should see the Fjordenhus en The Wave. The appartment is very convinient, spacious and has a beautifull kitchen which is the heart of this home. In the evenings we relaxed ,reading, in comfortable (Danish Design) chairs. It felt like home to us. The Vejle city centre is in walking distance (10 min.) and is very interesting to explore. Grocery shopping takes only a 5 minute walk. Veile and Dorte's and Peter's appartment is highly recommend by us to explore this part of Denmark.

We really enjoyed an exchange with Dorte, her apartment is just fantastic! With an amazing view on the harbour and spacious living room and bedrooms it is the perfect home to stay in for any period of time. We very much enjoyed our time in their home admiring the views from any point in the apartment. For those that like cooking as we do, their kitchen is fantastic - spacious and very well equipped. Dorte and Peter were wonderful hosts and they were so kind to invite us to come a day earlier to meet them and enjoy dinner together, as well as pick us from the airport in nearby town and show us around their hometown. Their home is located in Vejle which is very walkable, charming, and full of attractions. It's also very close to Legoland making it a perfect holiday destination. We highly recommend walking in the harbour and in the old town as well as visiting the deer park. Overall we had a fantastic time and we look forward to welcoming Dorte and Peter to Warsaw in the future :)

Dorte and Peters home is a great choice if you want to visit Vejle. Do not hesitate to make an exchange if you have the possibility. The home is in a great location. Right at the harbourfront. And in walking distance to the city center of Vejle.Since the apartment is located on the 5th floor, you have amazing views of the harbour, town and even the forest. The apartment is tasteful decorated "Scandinavian style", with a lot of great art, and the home is immaculately clean. We tried a couple of restaurants recommended by Dorte, and was not disapointed. Also a must see, is the "Fjordenhus" An iconic building just 100 meters from the front door. Book a guided tour for the best experience. The communication with Dorte has been excellent, and we really enjoyed our days in Vejle.

We had a fantastic stay at Dorte and Peter’s appartment in Vejle. The appartment is in a stylish, modern building right in the yacht harbour, you couldn’t live any closer to the sea. The building is part on an ensemble of architectural highlights, including the stunning Fjord House just opposite. The appartment itself is breathtaking: full of light, an amazing art collection that many galleries would envy, modern and sophisticated appliances, like a faucet that delivers ice-cold sparkling or boiling water instantly. It’s hard to imagine a more stylish interior. The location is superb: a short walk to a lovely park with exotic birds, a deer park that our daughter just adored, a small, spotless beach nearby. The cute city centre of Vejle is also in walking distance, other highlights like the famous rune stones in Jelling are just a short drive away. Dorte and Peter were incredible hosts, the communication was perfect, a change in plans because of the Corona situation went smooth and easy. I just spent such a lovely weekend in Dorte and Peters gorgeous home. The apartment is beautiful with lots of art and a view to die for. I barely wanted to leave the apartment to go explore! The night I arrived I just sat on the balcony and enjoyed the fantastic Danish Summer evening, the stunning view over the harbour while sipping a glass of wine along with the great treats they had left for me upon arrival <3 The next day was pretty much the same picture except I sipped coffee instead of wine from the morning. There are two balconies, so started out in the smaller one enjoyed the morning sun and then later switched to the larger for lunch. I did convince myself to get out and wander around the harbour area, a great place full of life and happy people. Walked around some more to check out some of the great spots nearby, there are so many little gems just around the corner, all easy reached either by foot or bicycle. Shopping is close by as well so everything is super convenient. Sunday morning I was participating in a Virtual Race and the nearby Nørreskoven was perfect for that and is also great for walks plus they have the "Gorilla Park" (zip lining). Dorte had even been so kind to leave me a map with a suggestion for a scenic route. All in all I had an amazing weekend in Vejle, just not enough time to see and do all the stuff I wanted - I'd def need a full week or more for that! And it is impossible not to be blown away by Dorte and Peters stunning home, the amazing view and perfect location. I had the great pleasure of meeting Dorte and Peter as they arrived at my home before I took off and we exchanged keys and had a chat. They are such a lovely couple, super easy going and a pleasure to communicate with. The exchange was settled pretty quick as well all the details regarding it. They had agreed to look after both kitties and doggies and no doubt the critters had gotten plenty of love and attention during the weekend :-) I can only strongly encourage others to exchange with Dorte and Peter - you'll love it there and they are a delight to swap with - I'll be back there in a heart beat if I can convince them to swap again ;-)
