Hospitality Description: Our home is built of an upper and lower suite. When we are not travelling we stay in the lower unit that is separated by a locked door on both sides. The Upper unit is open for exchange any time of year & is composed of 3 bedrooms, large kitchen, living room, kitchen nook and bathroom. This area is open to All types of exchanges. However at the moment we are not ready to be traveling outside of north america, so any travellers open to giving a globe for coming to stay we are super excited to begin making our plans for next Fall 2025 to start our travel adventures. Our Travel Goals is to build up a few globes or non-simultaneous exchanges for our Big Trip next Fall/Winter 2025. Our plan is to meander, making stops along the way with people we have done exchanges with, from the Okanagan down the Pacific side of the States, Stop in California disneyland for a week. Then keep going all the way down to Costa Rica. No time line as we will adjust depending on what beautiful people we have exchanged with over the next 10-11 months. In the meantime we have just an amazing cozy home that we can not wait to make new connections and be able to offer some incredible memories for people/families wanting to come explore the Okanagan. The space

We strive to have a clean, organized and simple house layout. Keeping our home simple makes things easier for hosting guests. Our home can feel very bohemian with it's colourful walls and cozy bedroom layouts. Lots of Garden space is available to enjoy in the spring, summer and fall & warm cozy sitting nooks inside to enjoy year round.

Guest access

Our home entrance is from the front yard & you climb one set of stairs to the Front Door. The entire upstairs suite is situated on One floor. Open concept kitchen, living room, breakfast nook. Clean and simple bathroom setup is located centrally around the 3 bedrooms.

Notes

If we are doing a non-sim exchange or a Globe then we will likely be living in the downstairs suite. We do have two dogs that are well behaved and we all would get the opportunity to share the backyard space.

Neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood is family friendly space. Located 10min drive to either of the amazing lakes our little town is nestled between. World class hiking and biking is in our back yard with lots of paths all over town to explore. The local Apex Ski Mountain is only a 45-60min drive away and is amazing to get up to for a day or there are short term rentals up at the hill for a weekend trip. (we can help with finding some rental options if staying at the ski hill is of interest)

Getting to my home

If you fly into the Kelowna Airport, we are approx an hour drive away. If you are flying in from the Vancouver airport, we are approx 4.5-5hours drive away. In Penticton, our home is centrally located up a private and family friendly neighbourhood. Walking distance to the hospital and only a short 5-10min drive to the beaches and vineyards.

Penticton Airport is only 10min drive away.

Getting around

We are located just out of town, there is a local bus that can transport you downtown or to either of the beaches. Also renting E-bikes in the summer is a fun option. Otherwise having a vehicle to drive is a nice option to be able to drive around to the many amenities in & around the Okanagan.
