West Vancouver is a beautiful community close to everything. We are in a prime location to enjoy local beaches, minutes away from 3 ski hills, 1.5 hours from the world class Whistler Resort, and just across the bridge from downtown Vancouver.  We offer 2 bedrooms in our home for exchange. We have 2 cats which stay here during exchanges, so cat lovers are a must as some cat care is required.

The Space

Our home is lived in! If you are looking for perfection, this might not be for you. 

Our home has 4 bedrooms, but only 2 are available for exchange (King bed, Queen bed). There is a large deck with lots of seating, which is set up in the summer months. It is a lovely spot to spend your days reading and relaxing. There is a living room and another TV room/den. We have 2 portable A/C units for the summer months and a lovely fireplace for the winter months.

Guest Access

There are 2 floors with split level stairs. Our home is not accessible or child proofed, so is not suitable for young children. Guests can access the home through a pin pad.

Neighbourhood

We live in a beautiful residential area close to everything. Beach is 5 minutes away. 3 Ski hills within 30 minutes. Shopping and restaurants 5 minutes away. Downtown Vancouver is 15-45 minutes away depending on traffic. A car is preferred for getting around.

Getting to my home

Closet airport is YVR which is 45 minutes away by car. Ferry to Vancouver island is 15 minutes away. Car is preferred method of travel.

Getting Around

You can walk to shops and restaurants. Or they are a short drive away. There is a bus stop close by but it does not run often. A 5 minute drive away will get you to buses that can get you downtown in minutes

We live in Vancouver, Canada and work in education and sales. We have 6 children aged 16-29 (4 are adults and 2 are teenagers). We are hoping to get away on our own sometimes, and include some of them other times.
