General overview
Our apartment located in Potts Point is lovely and very easy to look after. It is a home away from home in a vibrant leaf lined village environment only 2 kms from the city of Sydney. You can walk everywhere, shops, restaurants, and just about everything you can imagine are within a 5 minute walk. .
There is a gym and pool in the building. A concierge is at the desk 24 hours a days. It’s a completely secure building.
We do prefer our cleaner to clean after Globes stays so the apartment is ready for us when we return. She charges $120 or around 70 euros.
The space
Lovely apartment, located in a security building with city and water views in leafy Potts Point. There is parking for one car if required.
We have 2 bedrooms however as it’s not a big apartment it is really not suitable for bigger families. It’s probably more suitable for a couple but we can adapt. We have 2 beautiful rescue cats, we love swaps with fellow cat lovers however we can arrange alternative arrangements if this doesn’t work for our guests. We are always happy to swap and look after our hosts cats as we do our own.
Guest access
There are lifts directly from the lobby and basement car park. It is very easy flat access from the street. There is a 24/7 concierge who lets you in if you forget your 🔑
Notes
Our homes have been listed with PLU for some years. We have our holiday home and cabin an hour south of sydney in Bundeena. Also our Potts Point apartment which we rent (from my best friend) while we wait for the apartment we have bought off the plan to be completed.

Neighbourhood
Potts Point is a small and densely populated area in inner-city Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Potts Point is located 2 kilometres east of the Sydney central business district and is part of the local government area of the City of Sydney.
It is a cosmopolitan area of Sydney with many popular restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and facilities.
From the quiet residential streets of gorgeous Art Deco and Victorian homes to the busy, noisy and neon-lit streets of the former red-light district of Kings Cross, this precinct has it all. Locals hang out in Llankelly Place, to dine on a laneway with giant 70’s-style circular lights suspended above the pathway, that connects Kings Cross with Potts Point. You can indulge in a glass of fine French wine, Mod-Oz food for breakfast, lunch or dinner or just sip on a coffee and watch the world go by. Discover the innovative restaurants and small bars of the Roslyn Quarter and Kellett Street, lit with fairy lights and lined with established leafy trees.
Getting to my home
Potts point can be accessed by local bus, train to Kings Cross (10 minute walk to apartment), taxis, ubers, car etc. It is an easy drive from Sydney airport less than 30 minutes it can also be easily accessed by train.

Potts Point to Sydney Airport (SYD) by train The train journey time between Potts Point and Sydney Airport (SYD) is around 19 min and covers a distance of around 11 km. Operated by Sydney Trains, the Potts Point to Sydney Airport (SYD) train service departs from Circular Quay Station and arrives in International Airport Station.

Getting around
As above there is a local bus less than 2 minutes away and a train station less than 10 minutes walk. It is easy to walk to many of Sydney sites including the harbour bridge, opera house, city, art gallery, museum etc.
My main transport is walking, it is a very central suburb and very easy to walk just about everywhere.

We had a marvellous stay at Peta and Alex's lovely apartment. So central to all of the Potts Point, Kings Cross area. The apartment is well equipped and very secure, Wonderful nearby restaurants and just 20 minutes to the city by bus. It was sad to say goodbye to the two beautiful cats when we left. -

Alex and I live Potts Point just minutes from Sydney CBD. Lambeth Walk Beach Home, Bundeena and Jacksons Cottage are our holiday homes. We are avid travellers and go overseas at least 3 times a year, we have been to many parts of the world. We would love to swap overseas and in beautiful Australia on a very regular basis. We are open to all offers.
At the moment we are looking for France or Northern Spain for a few days in early August 2024 and London and Finland for a white Christmas in 2025.
We do prefer cities to quiet country areas. Usually there are only 2 of us travelling although sometimes we might travel with a couple of family members.
