Beautiful natural setting and close to some of the longest sandy beaches. Centrally located for day trips to the most desired destinations from Tofino to Victoria. Magnificent hiking trails are close by and the famous Strathcona Park is a day trip from our home.

The space
Home has 3 levels with primary suite on main floor. Upper floor has 2 bedrooms with Queen beds and a full bathroom. Lower floor has family room, bedroom, media room, bathroom and kitchenette and woodstove. This lower floor has access to back yard and hot tub.

There are several ways to get here. If coming from Vancouver, you can take BC Ferries from Horseshoe Bay or Tswassen, 1.5hr to Nanaimo and drive 30 min to Parksville.
Or you can fly to Nanaimo and it is a 30 min Drive north to Parksville. Victoria airport is a 2.5 hr drive up Island (gorgeous drive over the Malahat) or fly to Comox and it is a 1 hour drive to Parksville.
You can also take the Washington State Ferries to Victoria and drive 2 hrs north to Parksville.

Getting around
Best to rent a car at the airport as we are a 35 min drive from Nanaimo, a 1 hr drive from Comox or a 90 min drive from Victoria or 3 hours from Vancouver including a 1.5 hr ferry ride.
Tofino is a 2.5 hr drive. There are several Islands with in a 1 hr drive that have excellent ferry service running all day.
We may consider sharing our vehicle in trade for yours on a simultaneous exchange.
