Neighbourhood
Ivybridge is a lovely safe welcoming community. Our local amenities include brand new leisure centre with swimming pool. There are 4 local pubs within walking distance and shops. Dartmoor straight on the doorstep!
We are 30 minutes to beautiful Salcombe and Hope Cove beaches. Our nearest is Mothecombe beach 20 minutes away. We are 45 minutes to Exeter and two hours to Bristol. 15 minutes easy journey into to historic Plymouth. 3.5 hours to drive to London or 2 and a half on the train. Pennywell farm is close as well as many, many days out! The English Riviera, Torquay is 45 minutes away with Kent’s Cavern and Agatha Christie’s house Greenway. We are well situated for hiking on Dartmoor and many places of interest.

Bristol airport is 2 hours Newquay is 1 hour 20 minutes Exeter is 45 minutes.London Heathrow is 3.5 hours drive away
Getting Around
Local shop is 10 minutes walk. Town is 15 minutes. Very regular bus service. Ivybridge has a train station, you can be in London in 2 and a half hours. Torquay is 45 minutes away so is Exeter. We are very fortunate to have beautiful beaches within half an hour, our nearest is 20 minutes away. We are also just over the bridge from Cornwall.
