Neighbourhood

Albany Park is well within the bounds of the metropolitan area and in fact one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the country--Out our door and no more than a few blocks you'll find African churches, excellent pho and Korean home cooking, one of the best Afghan restaurants in the city, and more taco stands than I could count. You are also adjacent to Lincoln Square which is an historic German neighborhood and has a very cute feel with a lot of walkable retail.

20 min drive to ORD, 45 min to Midway. The train is accessible but you'll get the most out of Chicago with a car

Kristin's home did not disappoint. Meticulously decorated, each room lived up to the photos. Chic, yet comfortable. Larger than it looks with three levels--upstairs bedrooms, spacious airy main floor living/kitchen, and a newly renovated downstairs sitting room with large capacity washer/dryer--even a wine cooler and coffee station. Rare to find a Chicago neighborhood home with dedicated parking. Kristin's has two spaces, plus a cute yard with barbecue and seating. We learned that she's also an Air B&B owner, so, she's used to providing extra information to guests about the neighborhood, which really came in handy. Grateful for the exchange!

Hi! My name is Kristin and I'm excited to join the community. I am originally from Nashville, a longtime realtor (13 years!). My husband Eliot and I love architecture and design, exploring new and familiar cities, and spending time with our two kids. We have invested in making our home a comfortable, welcoming place and hope to share it with others. As a realtor, I spend a lot of time zipping around Chicago in my car, working with investors and developers, and of course trying out new brunch spots. Favorite repeat travel destinations include London, New Orleans, and NYC. We are mature working professionals, in our early forties and my husband is a fundraising consultant. When we travel we enjoy road trips, national parks, museums and (mostly!) dining out.
